You gonna jump him or something?

This is one of those delivery days that I will have the package opened before making it back in the house.

I don't blame you, that's a sick card!!! Is it for sure getting delivered today?

Tracking info says it's to be delivered today but who knows. Our local mail service could've been a little better to me over the past 2 months. Way too much stuff getting hurt by carelessness.

Well, I just picked up a Jeff Rowe 2007 SP Chirography auto RC #/99 for $1.50 + S/H so I am not going crazy on him. I just think that learning from Brady may do him some good. I don't think he'll be a superstar, but maybe he can work his way up the depth chart for another team.

LSH's cards seem to be selling well right now. You see a higher ceiling in the future?

Hoard some of the LSH's.

Personally, I would not touch Jeff Rowe. He is on his third or fourth club and what I saw of him does not do much for me. I know it is a "homer" pick, but look at Charlie Whitehurst. He is stuck behind Rivers, but was one of the better QBs in the 06 draft and has had some good preseasons. It is your call, but his stuff is cheap right now.

What exactly is this card?

Won't jinx it but it's a high end Manning. I thought it was being delivered by noon but I guess not. Our local post office is yet to log it in their system.

If Hightower or Wells go down and he gets into the offense more, his cards will go up. He's really got potential, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a homer.

Running backs all seem to have spikes. If Hightower or Beanie were to go down I could see them doing well, but it is hard to tell if this is not his spike.

Here are some QBs I would look at: Matt Gutierrez, Brian Hoyer, Andrew Walter (if any of those 3 are in NE), Charlie Whitehurst, Luke McCown, Josh Johnson, Troy Smith, Matt Moore (when he comes back down in a couple months), Alex Smith (though his stuff is up from where they used to be), Matt Flynn

All of those guys have potential to become a starter via injuries and/or could play well enough to get a good spike IMO.

I probably will throughout the offseason. For being a third string RB he sure does sell well. Must be his amazing special teaming. 8-)

I've got two extra SPX rookies that I'll sell next season if he peaks. I'm happy with just having one copy of each card made (assuming I get lucky enough to nab whatever rarers like the /10)

You have 3 LSH SPX rookies??? Share the wealth bro, he went to Pitt!!! I don't have one yet.

Yeah, I am definitely looking at a few of those QBs you listed. A lot of those can be had for a cheap price and I think I already have a Whitehurst auto.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Matt Moore will be a great pick if you can find him cheap.

In 2007 he had a decent upswing when he came in for Delhomme and split with Testaverde. He looks like a better pick than Delhomme.

I almost bought some Moores earlier in the season for like $5 each (with shipping) but couldn't since I figured if Delhomme was playing over him he had to be out of favor. I was kind of right, but missed out :( I should buy some of the guys I listed, but just cannot justify tangling money up sometimes. Oh well. Being right is almost good enough for me.

I know what you mean about tying money up. It's always nice when your "investment" is of somebody you like or with a team you collect. Then if you can't flip them, they're just PC and not a loss.

Should be patient but a little frustrated. Package supposed to be here by noon and was processed early this morning. I guess the logic was that it's not worth a special trip across town. Hopefully it gets delivered with the other mail. Either way my afternoon is being held up.

The moral of the story: Don't file a report on the local PO if you plan on having anything significant purchased int eh next few weeks. Noon came and went, mail carrier came and went, package at the local PO waiting for someone to deliver it like they are supposed to.
