Yep. Now that I have the 08 NT and paying off the 07 Certified, I really want that 09 now.

Sorry to hear you're not getting your card today. My post office is like that but reversed. They never seem to get my stuff out right/on time.

That sucks for you Chris. I had two packages lost in November. One had DC saying it was delivered on a Saturday which we had got no mail. Coincidentally there was a temp driver so I was real pissed about it since they are supposed to scan the DC right before putting it in the mailbox.

No mail for me today. :(

Thanks. I'll live. I just get frustrated when someone does not hold up to their end of an agreement. If you can't get something in the time you say you can then either 1) refuse to accept next day payment or 2) be willing to offer a refund for the difference between Priority/Next Day. Oh well. The irony in this is that our post office is one many think will be eliminated if the downsizing happens. You'd think a group facing this possibility would be at the top of their game in regards to quality control. Some of the stories are just messed up.

The funny trend around here is in regards to drivers that leave the note in the box saying you are not home rather than just getting out of the truck and giving you your package. When I first moved here there would be a day I would be home all day just to go to the box and see the card saying nobody answered the door. I always assumed I didn't hear it. One day I was sitting by the window when the carrier drove up. I was expecting a delivery and figured I'd meet him in the driveway to save him some time. He didn't get out so I figured it didn't come. I walked to the box and there was the card. Since our side of the road is the first side to receive mail I got a chair and waited for him to come back and called him out. I was talking to a friend on another route and she told me of a similar story. She said they were in the house and apparently someone was working in the front yard. The carrier left a "sorry I missed you" card. Small town life for 'ya.

So your carriers have USPS trucks or their own cars to deliver in? I know the sorry i missed you has happened to us before and it is just crap. Though with boxes that don't need signing they rubberband all my mail and put it on the porch with the box. It is real nice when they do that.
