I would personally pass on the lot. Just my opinion.

Doesn't it look like a circa rave in the picture? I thought they sold pretty well

I would pass as well, unless you are trying to start a collection of Frank. That Circa looks like the regular version, not the rave.

OK this drew my attention a "1990" Donruss Rookie card "VERY RARE" :rolling eyes:
::facepalm:: http://cgi.ebay.com/Frank-Thomas-1990-D ... 500wt_1156
So I dend him a message that it is wrong 1991so he could fix it.
Um rare I have about 15+ of that card. The card in question is not his 1990 Donruss rookie it is a 1991 Donruss card. very missleading on your part if you do don't change your description I will contact ebay.
He sends a message back:
Yeah, you probably have 15 duplicates of this card, not originals, and from my research I was able to find out that this is also considered a rookie card, so back the frack up bitch, and mind your own business, this is none of your concern cowboy :benson: and then he sends me another one:
do you have any fracking idea who you are talking to?
So I respond with:
REPORTED Have a nice day Cowboy ;)
his response:
listen you pathetic piece of quit swearing you do not know who you are messaging, so refrain from threatening me or harassing me about my item, I have buildings and foundations with my name on them in New York and across the United States, I have access to a lot of resources, so I would strongly advise you to get on your knees and beg that I dont unleash the fury on you. As a matter of fact, your place of residence in particular, Texas, is home to many business owners and politicians that are friends with my friends, so be careful who you threaten, especially a minor.
Umm OK I just was trying to help him out :? So he has no feed back and probably was kick off of ebay before. Damn young minor Canadians :x

I couldn't resist. Just had to email the *#!#&$.

1991 Donruss rookie card? BUUUUZZZZZZZ ...... WRONG ANSWER.

For your education Frank's ONLY rookie cards are:

1990 Bowman
1900 Fleer Update
1900 Leaf
1990 O-Pee-Chee
1990 Score
1990 Topps

Notice anything in common here? ALL of his rookie cards are 1990.

Let's all mess with him. I feel the item title is mis-leading and warrants reporting as a listing violation. Let's see if he can hold his tongue when E-Bay starts asking him questions about his title.

Finally received an answer from "0 feedback" with my reply.
Dear gofrankgo,

lmfao good one pal

looks like you forgot his 1990 Upper Deck Rookie Card...and you said these are his " ONLY " rookie cards..... lol so i wouldnt take anything you say as fact

- axxeman88
lmfao bad one pal

Having collected Frank Thomas since I990 I can assure you that he only had the 6 different rookie cards that I listed in my previous email. He did not have an Upper Deck card until 1991 .... his 2nd year... Remember his rookie year is 1990. Check you Beckett or SCD (Sports Collector's Digest) And that's a fact Jack. Have a nice day.

After some bumps in the road I finally launched my website for promos of our guy Frank Thomas. I am by no means computer savvy nor do I have a handle on designing a website as you can see :) It's just a list of his know promos. So don't expect to much. Hope you enjoy it. Go to www.FrankThomasPromos.com.

Am I missing something here??

This has to be approaching a record for just a regular green. That seems like a pretty good sale already and it still has 2 days left. I thought I saw a Thomas sell last year for less than $100 when all the Crusades got put onto ebay.

I think it's just timing. There really hasn't been one listed in 6 months or so. I'm going to list one after this one ends.

Or list it as a firm "buy it now" price right now, so the 2nd bidder feels like they are getting a good deal and won't have to get into a bidding war any longer. I wish I had a Thomas Green, I'd definitely be listing one.

It's at $281 right now :o

That's just crazy. I thought the Clark red for $1000 was crazy, but these just keep climbing and climbing. I would have never guessed a Green to sell this high. 2 guys have definitely decided they want THIS one. Sell 'em quick!

Yes, I just listed a copy with a refractor line at the bottom for $250 or best offer.

I thought that the green one with serial number 35 went for less than $100 last year.....

The auction below is facinating.......it is as if they took this card back in time to 1994 to get it signed....
