So I finally finished y first site update. Approximately 30 albums added of some Thomas bats and other items. Check it out when you can. Have a lot more to add to it, including working on the descriptions for the items I just added. Couldn't wait to share it with everyone. Hope you like it.

Do any of you know anything about a 1994 Team Stadium Club Frank Thomas error card? Below I have pasted scans of the fronts of both packages, then scans of both backs showing the error. Notice that Frank's name and Team Name (White Sox) is missing completely from the card on the right. When I saw these on the shelf and noticed the difference, I had to get both because I was convinced that it was an error. I loved the fact that Frank Thomas cards were on the tops and bottoms of these packages. I have also left both packages sealed, as I figured they'd be worth more that way. Any information/guesses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MG

Here's the fronts of the 1994 Team Stadium Club White Sox Team Set packages:

We were having a discussion over in the Rickey thread recently about the 1997-1998 Fleer Million Dollar Redemption cards, and thought I'd see what you guys knew about them. From what we can tell, there are variations

1) Box on back says something like "One step closer to $1,000,000," which is the common card include in packs

2) Same as #1, except there's a stamped "1-45 VOID" on the back

3) Box on back says "This is not an official game card"

We originally thought #2 was the redemption, and #3 was some sort of promo, but I'd like to know for sure. Any insight would be appreciated!

First time I have seen this error. Excellent pick-up and mint in the package. :)

Thanks. I brought them in my local card shop (that's more interested in selling comics than cards) last year and he was clueless about this error. I showed them to another shop when I lived in Hampton VA about 8 years ago and he had never seen it either. I wish I could find someone who knew something about it. I thought for sure the Frank fanatics on this thread/site would have seen it before, or heard of it. I was ecstatic back in '94 when I pulled them of the shelf and noticed the error. Once in a lifetime find. Can you Beckett Grade blister packs like these? What would you guys do with these? Thanks, M

The Team Stadium error is a misprint due to missing the foil stamping process during production. This was fairly common through the 1990s and seems to be almost common today with base Topps. Pretty cool to see such an obvious lack of quality control up front like that.

I would agree that it happened a lot with the 90's cards.....but it is pretty cool to see one still sealed! Those walmart stadium club cards were so pretty for their time.

Hey Guys. Quick question. Which baseball book do you prefer and why? The Beckett annual or SCD annual. I personally prefer the SCD. Which would you suggest ..... the 2010 or 2011 issue? Anyone?

Nice! I just sold a BGS 9 PanAm Blue the other week. I may have another one should you not receive one on future submissions...here's my stash of McDag Auburn Tigers:

I'm really wanting a PSA 10 PanAm Blue, but I can't seem to pull higher than a 9 ever. My last graded:

One I just sold:

I was fortunate to come across a Beckett 9.5 Pan Am blue awhile back with all sub grades of 9.5 except the surface which was a 9. Bummer. I like you Ross would prefer a PSA 10. Just my preference.
