I'm pretty sure these were handed out during a softball game played by major leaguers. I can't find too much information on the issue. Wondering if anyone else knows a little bit more info on this card. Also, any information on how many are out there?

Edit: I couldn't find any on ebay, beckett.com, or checkoutmycards.

1996 Pacific Baerga Softball #4 Frank Thomas
This eight card set features major league baseball players who donated their time to participate in the Second Annual Carlos Baerga Celebrities Softball Game, played Dec. 8 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Two cards from the set were distributed to each attendee of the game. The fronts carry colored action player photos from the softball game. The backs display color player portraits with player information in both Spanish and English.

You have been thanked. Any idea on how many of these were given out. The best way to find out seems like gathering the information of how many people attended this softball game and then divide by 4. That may give a rough estimate.

No clue how many were given out, but I highly doubt an "extras" that were made were destroyed. I'm sure they found their way into the market one way or another.

any Thomas collectors have these? the was sent to dealers from Donruss.it is a fold out.the first 2 scans are front and back. the last 2 are from the inside.would love to have Juan Gonzalez of both! he is in the check list for both. sorry i could not rotate properly. the Portraits are hand # to 500! the Masterstrokes are hand numbered to 100

Um rare I have about 15+ of that card. The card in question is not his 1990 Donruss rookie it is a 1991 Donruss card. very missleading on your part if you do don't change your description I will contact ebay.

Yeah, you probably have 15 duplicates of this card, not originals, and from my research I was able to find out that this is also considered a rookie card, so back the **** up bitch, and mind your own business, this is none of your concern cowboy :benson: and then he sends me another one:

I do recall when I was young and Beckett would make a point to say something like FDC for the 1991 Donruss and FUDC for the 1991 UD since they were both late to the game of making his first card. Somehow that was supposed to make it more important? I thought about offering the guy $0.25 for the card but was afraid he would take the offer and I would end up paying $5 for that card shipped! He never did reply to my question....a bit dissapointing.
