So i had some McCullers autos ending at about 10:47ish (three of them, nothing too crazy). They all ended about a second before he was drafted. I also noticed that the buyer's eBay name clearly identified himself as a Rangers fan. I don't know how fierce their rivalry is or anything, but that struck me as ironic--second he wins the auction, the cross-town(state) team picks the kid.

I messaged him offering to cancel the sales if he'd like, given his fandom. Not unhappy with the sales--good for me either way, just felt like offering to do a solid for someone that might have had one of those "oh eff it" moments, a la if you just bought some cards of a guy and he was immediately drafted by your hated team.

Just thought this was kinda funny given the immediate timing.

Rangers and Astros fans aren't exactly hated rivals. Nothing compared to a Mets vs Yankees, Cubs vs White Sox, Dodger vs Giants type hatred.
Maybe next year when the Astros are in the AL West.

Houston sports fans tend to dislike Dallas sports teams but not vice versa... It's the Aggie mentality.
