If you do the math, there are about 300-310 cases produced. Some where in the 2600-2800 base cards per player.

Which means in total you have only 1200 autos, if those autos were evenly distributed from a print run perspective across the 31 subjects that would be less than 40 per...

Just ran some numbers....

341 Boxes = $17,050

If you can sell them for $70 on average you only have to sell 243 boxes to break even.

You can rip 50 boxes for pure profit and if they send you full cases.... You can put back 2 sealed cases for later profit in case the boxes go up even more.

But the main thing is being able to sell them at $70 per box... time will tell if that is possible.

Glad I placed my order for 3 more boxes this morning after getting off work...would've hated to have to look secondary for these.

i unfortunately missed out on buying one of the 2011 #/999 glossy ginter sets... really bummed about not picking one of those up...

Does anyone think these mini boxes could hit $100 on ebay / blowout or wherever in the next month or so...next value box craze?

Blowout upped their price $10 as soon as they went sold out and these are selling around $75 dlvd on ebay.

I imagine if they are selling for $75 dlvd now, the more that are ripped, the higher the price will go in the future.

I find it extremely hard to believe that these would hit $100 a piece. If the autos were a bit easier, maybe. But I don't know how the value could possibly be there to justify the $100 sale price. And again, the singles prices have been steadily going downward for 2 weeks. NOW, if the singles prices level out, and start to jump again, then I think the $75-$80 price tag could make sense.

Wow...there was quite a bit of activity on ebay after Topps sold out. Interesting. I wonder why Blowout only went to $69.99 when they are selling consistently on ebay at $75. Oh well, bodes well for my investment either way.

Lets just see how strong willed I can be...me and unopened wax don't get along very well.

Makes me wonder why all of the new buyers didn't just buy them from Topps the last 3 weeks?

It's all about set collectors. The hits are nice, but the set collectors are where the money is at. And I'm not just talking about base set. I'm sure there are a few going after the gold set and one crazy nut going after the silver/black/platinum

I believe that if they need 20-50 cards to finish their set and are having a hard time finding them online or at shows....they will be looking for boxes to rip.

Since these sold so well why does Topps not do more direct sales? If these were allocated to the big dealers what would have been the price point for Joe Collector?
