Steve,
I saw the card on Ebay and thought about making an offer. Not sure what the value is, but a nice addition to your collection.
Roy

Roy,
I agree about the "value", everyone seems to shy away from the personal autos like I usually do. But PSA and Arod- couldn't let it get by me.
Now, since I'm the only forum guy to have a FAKE AUTO authenticated by Beckett, lets hope I don't get that honor with PSA as well!

Its value to me is pretty high with the small number of total G/Arod autos out there. I'd love to know the story behind the guy / gal who got these autos.

Micheal, your Griffs are insane! I've got 78% of Puckett, and everytime I see your Griff posts I want to applaud you for your collection and for all the time you've spent over the years helping me acquire oddball stuff. Thanks

I know you've been the master, but you've sent cards to me that I've looked for .for. years.

I know I've sent you a couple packges over the years, but it doesn't make up for what you've done for me. I won't rest until I can get Griffey JR. to knock on your door. It may take a few years, but it will happen. You're a great member and a fellow Minnesotan, and I'll have Griff at your front door by 2014 at the latest.

Its going to happen, and you deserve it. Just throw a smile on when it happens.

-Andy

(no lie, its going to happen. Already have a few gateways to get to jujnior.)

Could he knock on my door too?

Michael thanks for the black ink auto Griffey above Moeller HS. At least my claim as the 1/1 was PSA and as stated I seemed to get cards authenticated by major graders like Beckett which turn out to be fake so...............maybe that one will turn out to be the real one :?:

QUESTION: I'm trying to add to my photobucket griffey album (I know its taken forever) but currently loading the 16/25 Premier 2007 1/1's released. For those of you wanting to follow my VERY SLOW progress the link to the Griffey collection is http://s199.photobucket.com/albums/aa281/srbrinn1/Griffey Collection/. I've only gotten to the 1/1 page of the album and next will post the entire 2007 Premier Set with the 16/25 1/1's released that year. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME GET ANY OTHER 1/1 NON AUTO CARDS FOR THAT 2007 PREMIER SERIES I'LL GIVE YOU FREE PEDIATRIC CARE- JUST KIDDING.

My question is CAN ONE ADD (UPLOAD) IMAGES TO THE END OF AN ALBUM OR SUBALBUM- DOES AN UPLOAD HAVE TO GO TO THE BEGINING AND THEN MOVED UNDER "ORGANIZE". ARE THERE SETTINGS TO PERHAPS LET THE IMAGE LOAD AT THE BOTTOM OR END OF THE GROUP?
ANY HELP WITH MY PHOTOBUCKET QUESTION WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Also- Michael or anyone, if you could help me someday obtain a red crusade, I'd be estatic. I've gotten heavily into inserts only lately mainly with David's help. I have the other 2 but would love to get the Red Crusade.

I plan to exchange some doubles with Bruce soon, but if after that anyone needs anything, I seem to buy a lot of stuff twice. I'll try to post a list of doubles available for trade only after Bruce and I conclude our exchange.

Griffey'ers:

Can you tell me anything about the distribution of the two Griffey cards (Ripken also if you know) in this scan. They're oversized & numbered to 5000 & 2500. Were these sold on the UD website (my guess)? Rarity?

Thanks!

Well CLARKFAN

I'm so glad to have provided you with your afternoon of entertainment. With 16 of 25 Red Crusades accounted for, leaving 9 and the possibilty that a present owner could sell, you really don't think there is a chance of getting one with all the help and the quality of collectors on this forum? THEN YOU SET YOUR SIGHTS TOO LOW. That's a shame, because low is what you'll get. Anything can be found with networking and patience and friends. That's how I got 16/25 of my 2007 premier 1/1's, how I got the only NL 1/1 artifacts apparel card for griffey ever made and the 3 MLB 1/1's for 2005, 2006 and 2007. Before I sold them I had four of the 2004 game used jersey patch auto cards 1/1 so yeah I think that letting people know and staying connected is how its done. No card is unobtainable, especially a card of which there are 25. As far as the price, $2000 or so, I know what it costs and I'm quite willing to pay it.

Don't really understand where your "put-down" humor is coming from but I guess I don't have to worry about you beating me to the next one.

heres the auction write up from mine
You are bidding on a rare 1998 Donruss Crusade Red Ken Griffey Jr. Numbered Parallel Card. The card is individually numbered out of 25 on the back. It is card #39 out of the 100 player set and features a red and yellow refractor like front to the card. Donruss made 3 different types of Crusade Inserts back in 1998: the normal green, the purple, and the impossible to find red. Beckett Magazine has a $N/A book value for the card because it is too scarce to price. I have never seen one of these listed on eBay since I’ve been a member. These cards are VERY SCARCE and impossible to find now since they are either locked up in personal collections or still sitting in boxes that will never be opened. These cards are at the top of most player collectors want lists and while its #D to 25 the cards turn up as often as cards #D to 1/1. The card pictures Ken Griffey Jr on the Seattle Mariners. Any lines are on the scanner and are NOT on the card. Card will be shipped in a penny sleeve and a top loader inside a team bag and will be mailed in a bubble mailer. Card comes from a smoke free home and a pet free home. If you have any questions please ask before the auction ends. Shipping and handling is $3.00 for a bubble mailer. Insurance is extra and optional. I only accept US money orders as payment.

But Magic, I'll just bet you'd help me if you heard anything

Easy Brinn1, don't get too worked up. I was just giving you some hard time. It just sounded funny the way you asked for it like it was a common easy to find insert card, that's all. Didn't mean to get you in a fuss.

For me, the Clark red took me 10 years of searching, so they just are the exception to all other rules when it comes to rarity, and 25 is like a 1/1 in this case.

I agree, this is the place to network for stuff you are looking for, I do it too, not to mention magicpapa has a lot of connections, so I suppose if someone could, he would be.

Sorry to offend!
