according to the guy selling this it is RIDICULOUS for me to offer him only 55 for this card even though the last one in auction ended at 54, am i off here or is this guy just asking way to much...

I've got 33 of the 56. They're actually pretty easy to put together, because no one really cares about the subtle variations, and they are inevitably misdescribed. A fun chase though!
