edit: I just found it was in the 1998 SI World Series set. It is from a 15 card insert set. Strange that I have never heard of the set.

Just bought this card on ebay
2001 Stadium Club Super Team Ken Griffey Jr , Larkin

The seller then sends me an email today
Why would I want to buy the redemption card, even if there are only 30? Is there something about this card where the redemption card is worth buying? Or is this just an attempt to get an extra $100? I've never cared about any other redemption card although I've had many sellers include it with the card I buy.

The card I am offering is the one that you recieved when you mailed in the 2001 Diamond Backs
card (won the World Series). The card you bought was the pack issued card . I guess its really not a redemption card
its a diffrent issued card. Anyway just thought you may have liked it.

First of all let me say had I known it was you to begin with, I would have just let you explain this to me. But I thought I was dealing with just "any old seller" not the infamous Jack Straw.
Thanks to your picture and explanation I finally understand. First I thought I was buying some redemption card for my card, and I don't usually treasure redemption cards very much. I thought someone here might shed light and some has- you.
I'm very familiar with the card you are offering and again, first confused it with a redemption card because of its explanation.
I'm almost sure I have that card, but will check tonite when I get home to make sure. Those cards are relatively rare and we've all talked about the "super team" cards before on the forum.
Thanks for the sale and the explanation and I'll get back personally after checking tonite.
Also very sorry for treating you like some seller when you are a "forum friend".

I got this card in from UD for a card they are not going to produce.. 2008 Ballpark Griffey Auto -43.. I still have 2 auto's in pending status from 2008 Ballpark.. -72.. I wonder if they are going to produce those, or send me replacements as well..

They sent me the same card as a replacement for a ballpark auto card- mine is up on ebay now as I have another one.
Guess that's going to be their replacement, no serial number and they probably have pretty many sitting there. Good old Ken keeping Upper Deck going- Without Ken, they would be Lower Deck
