Geez, sounds like he got out over his skis a bit... That can happen quickly when collecting Griffey

I will probably hold on to it for a while until another one pops up as I bought it for the PC. Once I get it in the mail, I will see how bad it is.

I never really considered 90s inserts to be anything I would want to collect, but man some of those Griffeys you guys show and some of the ones on ebay are really nice. It doesn't seem like the companies make those types of cards anymore. I stand corrected for the better by this forum.

I think the 90s inserts are nice cards but I have always found myself liking the newer GU and auto cards the best! Just what I have always found the most enjoyment for myself in collecting Griffey! That's what makes the hobby so fun! :D

Just about everything he has listed, he has bought from me within the past month. I'm not sure why he bought it all just now and is immediately selling it. I know the 90's Griffey market and sold my cards to him around those prices. So, he will be lucky to make back his money after ebay and paypal fees. Seems odd to me.
Yeah, that is crazy! You would think he would want to hold onto them for a while and enjoy them and wait till Junior gets into the HOF where they might be worth more! That's what I am doing with my collection and see what I want to do after he gets into it!;)
