You misquoted below, I didn't write that. I don't see the difference one's profession has here, but you brought it up twice and another time just now below ;) There are doctors and lawyers on these boards... but no indian chiefs that I'm aware of.

I'm half indian.......

another pickup.. getting just one more step closer. the griffey collectors here have slowed down from the hayday of 5-7 years ago... ahh. those were the days

Nice pickup. I think that most collecting has slowed down. A lot of people just don't have the money to spend at this point. My income was down 20% in 2009 from 2008, makes you step back a little. Now I really think about it before I buy a card.

Kinda makes you wish they didnt just release a nice on card autograph set with a bunch of griffeys, doesnt it? I know thats what i thought when i saw ultimate. And then again when i saw the inscriptions set within it....oh well, my spending this past month is making up for my lack of the prior four months...

Hi,
I've got a 2008 Topps Finest Gold Xfractor #13/25 (Griffey of course).
I was told these were available by redemption only and that only 3 of the 25 have been redeemed thus far.
Does anyone know if this is accurate info?

If only 3 have been redeemed over the 2 years then this would be very rare. I don't know how many xfractors are sold as redemptions (there's no sig needed or anything). Was this some special promotion?

Any help appreciated

Magic, not interested in any of the new ultimate autographs? There's certainly a lot to choose from! I've limited myself to only the inscriptions from the set and the one autograph that I got as part of Andrews group break.
