For how much?

I have no idea, but they have been selling packs from the boxes in the front for 4.99 each so i'm guessing they are quite a bit.

I've made a decision on this. It seems as though quite a few people are very interested in this card and I cannot figure out who to sell it to. So I think I will take the advice from a few members and list the card on ebay to open it up to everyone for a fair shot at it. I was lucky to find this card and I just want to be fair to everyone interested. I will probably run a 7 day auction beginning tomorrow evening. Thanks again everyone for the comments and advice. Whatever you do, don't panic if the card is sitting at $100 with a few hours left. There will be a whole lot of people sniping on this item so you'll get your money. Hell, I might even start the auction listing at $499 or even $999 and let it ride from there as you will still get bidders and you won't be screwed if god forbid there's a server malfunction or some fluke occurrence where snipers wouldn't go off. Better safe than sorry. Either way, good luck!

Yeah he definitely has no reason to feel worried if it stays low. I'd even throw out a bid at 500 immediately, just because I know there's NO chance it goes anywhere near that.

Not at all. Just saying, this card is bound to top 1K. The seller shouldn't be worried about losing out by running an auction (not that he said he will). He's gonna do AMAZING on this.

Thanks again everyone. Also, just to let everyone know I will not end this auction early. This is pretty exciting since this is by far the biggest card I will ever own. This is the first super I've ever owned and I gotta say that it is a very nice looking card. I can really see why people go crazy for them beyond the fact that they are one of a kind.

I was there on Saturday but had my 3 year old daughter there. She wasn't interested in allowing me to browse, so after hiking all the way to Valley Forge, I turned around and left after about an hour. Saw Cal Ripken from about 75 feet away...whoopteedo. I'm really frustrated that I didn't see it. Which booth had the card?

Agreed. Non-auto'd. His cards don't sell that well to begin with. Small market team. Why is this card such a lock to top $1,000? I think the $500 paid is fair on both sides.

Yea I hear ya on that. It was a nasty day. There was a guy that had a pretty much all of his cards in slider boxes. The guy has long curly hair. He was a really nice guy. The super was actually kind of half underneath some printing plates. When I saw it, I was like is that Hellickson the Super. I really couldn't believe that is what I was seeing and it was just in a regular rookie card toploader. It definitely wasn't a card that stood out. He did say that a lot of dealers asked him about the card, but they wanted to get it really cheap.
