After every home game I go to, I hang out in the parking lot for autographs. This is my first game in quite a while and I'm nowhere near prepared. I'm going to buy a program, but I wanted to do something else for autographs. Here are the options I've thought of (if you have any better ones, please say them).
1. Buy a bag of blank pucks. If I remember right, I can get a dozen for around $20 at Sports Authority.
2. Buy a full sized white helmet and make it my mission to get it signed by the whole team this season.
3. I'll be getting new jerseys in the coming months and I have a Pronger, Briere, and Gagne from last season. Get one of these signed by whoever comes out. I have a handful of signed jerseys though so this is my least favorite option.
What do you guys think?
I don't like doing cards for IPs unless it's a last resort. I did a lot of photos in the 09-10 season but there are only so many places I can hang them. I like getting the program signed at games then finishing it up at signings and the Carnival, but I did that in the 08-09 season.matchpenalty said:You don't like doing cards or photos? Can always print nice shots from net. Just me, but I don't like blank pucks or multi signed helmets. Flyers good signers?

With that said, we played like crap until the OT period hit. We were outshot 41-19. Really? Yet we still managed to win? Voukoun saved us, and if it weren't for him, the Pens easily win this game with 5 or 6 goals. Ugly or not though, a win is a win.
Puck Daddy said:Brooks Laich of the Washington Capitals, however, went there on Friday morning. When asked about potential head injuries for teammate Jay Beagle after getting KO'd by Arron Asham of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Laich said the following (via Chuck Gormley of CSN Washington):
"I really don't care about that awareness crap," Laich said. "To be honest, I'm sick of hearing all this talk about concussions and about the quiet room.
"This is what we love to do. Guys love to play, they love to compete, they want to be on the ice. How do you take that away from someone? We accept that there's going to be dangers when we play this game. We know that every time we get dressed.
"I don't know, sometimes it just feels like we're being babysat a little too much. We're grown men and we should have a say in what we want to do."
matchpenalty said:Maybe if BB wasn't such dope. He would have King in the line up. A non fighter like Beagle shouldn't tangle with Asham. I agree Bucco, Asham held him after he smoked him. Will see if the Caps nut up and do something about this next time. Nice to get some hate going on in the duckies and bunnies NHL of today.
HATE HATE HATE the shootout. It's about as dumb as it gets. Leave the game a tie. But all the pink hats like it and that is what NHL cares about. Cater to the non fans and have a stupid gimmick decide a game.
