It's the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament... Benilde St. Margaret made the championship game. That one is going to be huge

Are they the new Hill Murray now, recruiting players.

They are a private school but I doubt they recruit players. This was their first championship since they switched classes. They absolutely dominated though... 5-1. All five goals were scored by the same player and 3 were short handed. One of the best games I have ever watched and one of the biggest in MSHSL history.

WCHA Final Five games are on TV today... I am hurrying to get my schoolwork done so I can watch UMD blast through Denver.

the Penguins win their 11th game in a row with a 5-2 victory over the Devils.

Matt Cooke scored twice and Sidney Crosby recorded 3 assists. the Pens outshot the Devils 44-14.

the Pens will travel by train from NJ to Philadelphia this evening and will face the Flyers tomorrow at 12:30 pm.

Just finished watching the newest episode of "Canadian Pickers". Yes, its basically the same as "American Pickers" but with different Pickers and of course these pickers go across Canada. Anyways, about 20-30 minutes of this episode dealt with Sports cards and sports memorabilia. The Canadian Pickers were in Montreal and they ended up in a card shop and memorabilia shop in Montreal. Very cool episode. They showed tons of old Hockey cards from the 50s and a bunch of Baseball cards as well. The Canadian Pickers were trying to buy a Gordie Howe RC. I have to re-watch the episode as i was watching and doing other stuff at the same time. They also bought a few autographed Hockey 8X10s of Hall of Famers and also bought a Montreal Canadiens jersey signed by Jean Beliveau. One of the Canadian Pickers said he has made a lot of money buying and selling sports cards and its one of his favorite areas to deal in. I thought that was pretty cool.

Anyways, the end of the episode was pretty funny, especially to me. The Pickers get in their van and they are driving away from the card shop and one of the pickers says to the other one "Oh i forget, i bought you a surprise at the card shop" and pulls out a 1980's pillow of Wayne Gretzky with a facsimile autograph on it. He gives it to the other picker and these pickers are both from Calgary and people from Calgary traditionally HATE Wayne Gretzky, so anyways the picker who gets the gift ends up throwing the pillow out the window onto a busy street in downtown Montreal :lol: The episode ends with some teenager picking up the pillow off the side of the road and running away with it :lol:

Obviously since i love Cards and memorabilia this was a really cool episode of Canadian Pickers

Alexander Radulov is returning and could be playing as soon as next game for the Preds.

9:30am presser today to announce his return. His arrival at the airport was well covered by the local news stations last night.

I am cautiously optimistic about his return. The local spin is he will fit in better now that Suter and Weber are the team leaders. We will see.

His departure left a very bad taste for many die hards, me being one of those! ::facepalm::

It won't matter who joins the team if the they keeps having lulls like they did last night against the Oilers. Not a good performance.
