I think the player that used PEDs that is in the hall should be taken out of the hall. If Canseco said it was true, then it probably was true. As much of a slimeball as he is, he's been the best narc in baseball history. I would suspect Rickey Henderson, but that is nowhere near a concrete answer. For all the guys that Canseco played with, Henderson and Eck make the most sense. No cheaters allowed, whichever one it was.

What about the fact that he never once outed the players you referenced. I love how people just assume certain players used with absolutely no basis for it. I think YOU used... does that mean I'm right? lol

Really?Don Sutton won 324 games and 3500 strikeouts isnt that bad either. Great choice

One of only 6, I think, pitchers with over 300 Ws and 3,500 Ks.

while he did pitch for a long time you cant fault him for being consistent and healthy also if you look at his career numbers there is no case you can make against him being there

The Hall of Fame is about longevity and playing more than a couple of years.. If players didn't play for all those years, they wouldn't have the number of Homeruns they hit.. Aaron would never have broken Babe Ruth's record..

So a pitcher with 300 wins and 3500 strikeouts deserves to be in the Hall..

I'd remove both Joe Gordon and Phil Rizzuto, and then probably Maz.

For every person claiming a player should be out, there's always going to be someone claiming he belongs. It's a pointless argument, really. No one is right or wrong. There are no set guidelines to being inducted to the Hall, so anyone is fair game.

Sorta, but not everyone is eligible: "Five years after retirement, any player with 10 years of major league experience who passes a screening committee (which removes from consideration players of clearly lesser qualification) is eligible "

I understand THAT, I meant that anyone can be voted in at one point or another. They either are or aren't. If a player doesn't do enough to get in, he won't be voted in.

Funny how everyone ONLY mentions offensive stats when saying someone shouldn't be in the hall of fame.

Notice the joke markers in front of it. If you actually thought I was serious, than you equal fail.

You really think it's that far of a reach for someone to have that opinion. I have seen someone actually say that and mean it... maybe even on this very board. I never knew ~~ meant joking.

Anyone that says Ripken should not be in the HOF are kidding themselves! Ripken is a great and always will be. I am not saying that you think this way, but that person needs to learn some baseball knowledge.

Definitely Ozzie Smith. Alan Trammell did everything better than Ozzie Smith and yes, I am saying Trammell had a better glove than Smith. Trammell got in front of ground balls that Ozzie had to dive for. Has anyone besides me ever asked why Ozzie Smith made more diving plays for a shortstop than anyone else? He dogged a lot of those ground balls so he could make the diving play. Ozzie couldn't hit his way out of a wet paper sack either.

What about Molitor & Puckett? The only thing that stands out for Molitor is the 3,000 hits. As far as Puckett, how is he in and not Mattingly?
