I'm starting to believe. But, there's been an entire season of futility in front of the past few nights.

The BRewers coming to town has definitely helped raise spirits. That, and Hamels staying long term. :)

Still have a LOOOONG way to go, and NO bullpen outside of a long guy (Kendrick) and a closer.

Not to be a wet blanket, but...the Phillies are only two games ahead of the Cubs in the loss column.

I believe "K-Rod" blows!

And can someone please tell "Uncle" Charlie not to pitch to the other teams' only deep threat. First Kemp last Thurs. then Braun today...::facepalm::

Good thing we gained a grand total of 0 games on the Nats!

Thanks Mets!

As long as the rest of their 63 games are against Milwaukee, they got the post season on lock-down!

Not sure the Brewers deserve that. I think you mean the Brewers bull pen. It is honestly humorous at this point how an MLB bull pen can be that bad. Congrats to the Philly for taking advantage of the worst bull pen in baseball.

Fair enough. Bullpen is the OLNY reason we've lost the majority of the games this month.

I was watching MLB tonight and Bowa and Manuel (Jerry ass hat) was on there and said don't count out the Phillies. I laughed so hard I think I pulled a rib muscle

It's exciting to see them hitting and winning games that seemed lost, but we'd need to win every series the rest of the season to finish with a record around 87 wins and that may not be enough to get a wild card spot. And that is one crazy torrid pace...

Does anyone else think they MUST win 5 of the next 6 vs. Braves and Nats to at least make it a conversation?

And I'm still trading Victorino (and the injured Polanco, IF anyone will take him), even if he goes 4 for 4 in all 4 games before the deadline!

It's over. Adios Blanton..Vic...Polanco...Pence....

Apparently we are in the running to land Blanton and Pierre....Can't wait to add our fifth starting pitcher that gives up bombs and has an ERA over 5!!!! I actually wouldn't mind Pierre taking Lew Ford's spot.

phillies really liqudated themselves. But if i was trying to re-build the team (around there pitching I'm assuming) then I would've attempted to trade Ryan Howard. Just IMO.
