How about finding stuff from the "junk wax" years! I like it all, and eventually I'll start to hunt down some of the pre-war era cards. A big thanks to Junior Griffey as he let go of a PC card of his to help my collection. It is the last card, and worth scrolling down to see. Thanks again!

Congratulations to Micah Johnson (White Sox 9th round) and Chad Martin (Cubs 10th round) as they are the only two IU players drafted this year. Hopefully Panini will include them in Elite.

Cardboard isn't a competition, if we communicate then we can both "win" without breaking each others wallets . I work with the Kevin Orie Supercollector on every rare card that comes up and we are cool with each other. But, is it possible there are two Micah Johnsons?

Finished a strong freshman campaign with a .312 average and 11 home runs, the ninth-most for a freshman nationally ... also had 15 doubles, three triples, 53 runs and 42 RBI in starting every game for the Hoosiers ... went 6-for-9 on the basepaths and led the conference with 247 at-bats ... went 2-for-4 with two runs in his IU debut vs. San Diego (2/19) ... had solo hits in each of the final three games vs. USD ... had a pair of hits against UConn (2/28) ... went 2-for-5 against Kent State (3/6) ... had a pair of doubles and two crucial assists at home plate against Vandy (3/7) ... had a career day at Louisville (3/10) with two home runs and five RBI ... went 3-for-5 with a home run against Miami (Ohio) (3/13) ... forced extra innings with a longball vs. Bradley (3/15) ... had a homer and three RBI vs. Eastern Illinois (3/18) ... Had three hits along with three RBI vs. UMBC (3/19) ... hit a home run in his first at-bat at Sembower Field, going oppo for a solo shot against Xavier (3/24) ... went 2-for-4 with a double in the opener at Ohio State (4/9) ... had a 3-for-5 day with a pair of runs in the Saturday game against the Buckeyes (4/10) ... went 2-for-4 in the finale against OSU (4/11) ... had a pair of hits and scored twice in the Saturday game at Minnesota (4/24) ... went 4-for-6 with two homers and finished a double shy of the cycle against Purdue (4/30) ... had three hits and scored the tying run in the bottom of the ninth in the Saturday game with Purdue (5/1) ... went 3-for-5 and scored a pair of runs at Michigan State (5/14) ... had a 3-for-5 day with a three-run homer and a double against Illinois (5/21) ... went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer against Minnesota at the Big Ten Tournament.

Cool card. Do you have any other information, I mean did he transfer before the season or what? I searched The Baseball Cube (which is an awesome resource for any college team collectors from 2002-now), and just couldn't find him on any of their rosters.
