Meh it happens. I get more frosted when:

A) I send a counter offer as a seller and rather than declining, the buyer lets it just sit there.
B) people hit a buy it now, I promptly send an invoice (or promptly combine shipping) and then they drag out sending payment. It really gets me when it's a small dollar amount too (like $10 on 2 cards for example)

I think it's very disrespectful. I ESPECIALLY hate when this happens let's say there are two of the same card one ends in a day and I make an offer on one and the one where I could potentially bid on ends before the seller answers my offer. Sellers should just counter or decline letting it expire is unprofessional.

Depends if the offer is reasonable or not. Too many people can't comprehend how to use best offer. If you are offering $10 on something I have listed at $100, you are a dipshit and are getting ignored by me with no response.

There is an option that filters stupid low bids, why don't people use that?

As far as a seller not responding, sometimes you have a bid that you won't take at the moment but you like to
keep it around just in case you have to ditch the card quickly.

I don't like using auto decline because I feel its very unpersonable. I allow open offers on 99.9% of my listings. However, that does open the door for some real low ball offers.

Another thing I hate, and this just happened last night.

I have a card listed at $15 BIN/BO. It is listed a little high because I wasn't sure what to list it at.
A person offers $4.
I counter with $8.
He counters $5.
Trying to end this I counter $6. After all, that's between $4 and $8. Seems fair.
He counters again for $5.50 and that's his final offer.
I decline because honesty, that pissed me off.
He sends a message saying he will do $7 dlvd off eBay and maybe that way it will make up for the 0.50 I cared about so much.
Message deleted and you know what? Might just raise the price up to $20.
