My first real tough Dilfer from the 2021 Mosaic set, 06/10. And I finished up my 2005 & 2006 Turkey Red Red and White parallel needs last year so this year I'm starting to work on the Black and Gold cards I still don't have. This Rich Harden gets my 2006 Black needs down to 5, but one I'm missing is Frank Thomas so that's a little rough. The Black cards are fairly tough and since they aren't serial numbered they can slip under the radar a little. The Golds are even tougher but the rarity is more well-known so they're more likely to be listed for sale.

Recently received the black refractor to complete the the rainbow! No superfractors for 2004 chrome. Red X-Fractor has a stated print run of /61.

Not especially huge team sets but somewhat rare.


I've always liked the 2003 Donruss Champions Holofoil/25 set and these two put me three away from completing the team set. Only need 2 more for 2004 Elite Extra Aspirations after picking up this Huston Street RC. 2003 Leaf Blue Press Proofs/50 is down to 5 but one of those is a Rickey Henderson card that I can't even find the Red Press Proof for. And I only need 3 more 2003 Leaf Limited Gold Spotlight/50.


More Pacific cards to fill gaps in my collection. Only need one more 2000 Omega Copper/45 after getting this Giambi. 1999 Paramount Holo-Silver/99 is also down to 1 left. Still need 3 for 1999 Prism Blue/80, 4 for 1998 Paramount Platinum Blue, 2 for 1998 Pacific Platinum Blue, and 1 for 1998 Invincible Platinum Blue.


Still need a ton of the 2003 UD 40-Man Rainbow cards, same as the 2002 set, but always good to pick up a nice Mulder card I don't have. This 2009 Reggie Jackson goes towards my 2009-11 Topps Manufactured Patch card needs.

The last mail day of January was a good one.


This auto is going in a custom Passing the Torch piece that will feature signatures from Buck and Bob Kendrick, the current President of the NLBM.


1994 Ted Williams Leon Day Autograph - To my knowledge this is the first pack inserted certified auto of a N*gro Leagues player (yeah I know Hank Aaron had an auto in 1991 Upper Deck but it's in a Braves uniform). I love the stamp they used to emboss these cards.
