he said, he wont negotiate, during the season if they dont sign him by opening day. thus he would be a free agent.
the yanks would be in a bidding war. so my question is do you sign him before opening day? get in a bidding war after the season. or trade him this year. so i agree not a ultimatum more like a demand.
