Kyle Lotzkar, RHP: The supplemental first-round pick from Canada in 2007 did not pitch at all in 2009 due to elbow trouble. When healthy, he had the best curveball in the system and posted a 3.58 ERA at Class A Dayton in 2008 before being shut down due to stress fracture in his pitching elbow.

i think there was a setback in his recovery late last year. i was reading up on him a few moths ago.

Especially since BA named him in I believe 08 or 09 as the Reds break out candidate for said year. I've asked about him in every chat and have yet to get an answer.

I had heard at one time he was going to quit baseball. Didnt he have some off the field problems?

I saw him the spring at Reds camp so he is definitely still in baseball. He was charting pitches though so I didn't get to see him throw. He signed a few cards for me and said he was feeling good.
