No one has really said anything bad about Warren, we're just saying that the customer is scum.Captain Feathersword said:Warren's a good guy and he just did a good thing. Let's let this end now.
Signed - A former customer (only because I moved away)

Warren's All Stars said:The problem was that he paid more than 45 days before the much-delayed release date.
It's no biggie, I just got off the phone with Jason. I'm getting him the card.
Erich said:I think we can all agree that Warren is honorable and a good friend but common. That seller just took advantage of you and Jason. First off he did not buy the case from you, then he wants to recoupe the money he lost from his bad deal on Ebay by charging tree fitty. This is the stuff that makes me really pissed off about this hobby. If somebody told me they wanted 350 for a card that is worth no more that 40-50 bucks I would have told them to get bent and NEVER come back into my store. Then buy the card off ebay when it shows up for $50.00
AKA Coastal said:[quote="Warren's All Stars":2rymydz0]I don't think what it costed me is important, I'm just glad to announce that I've aquired the card (or will in a few hours) & it'll be on its way to Jason in the morning. I just talked to him & he is thrilled to be getting it. So happy ending for all parties involved. The whole thing has been a positive experience for me, no regrets whatsoever. Jason's promised me a pic of him holding the card and that, my friends, is priceless.
Happy collecting!
Jays_Cards said:Honestly, the outrage over this is ridiculous. Yes, the guy wants to much for his card, but no one is forcing anyone to pay for it. Wait until it shows up on ebay and aggressively go after it then if you dont like the price, just like anything else. Anyone who buys anything from a card store is massively overpaying 95% of the time anyways, but you do not hear them complaining.

o contrare monfriar (sp? lol)
Read the small print. You have exactly 45 days from the date of payment to make a Paypal claim on a deal gone bad. Once 45 days & 1 second have gone by Paypal will not even as much as investigate the claim. This is a fact.

Jason has volunteered to break any codes I might encounter in the future free of charge. I asked him to help me figure out my wife, but he said no man could do such a thing

(and he very well may be... I was just sayin' that if I WERE to judge a book by its cover then that wouldn't be the text for my upper level business classes)
kentuckyderby said:I recall reading a post once where people ripped on ebay sellers who jack up prices of cards when they expect players to bid on them (ie Pat Nesheck, etc)
This is the same philosophy
Jack up price of Wong's card
Why should Wong (or this board) cover the fact that the guy got a brutal break and/or was screwed by another ebayer on different case?
I am not attacking you Warren.
I just don't see why members would give money so that a 3rd party who isn't even a member here can walk away with 350 bucks for a card of Wong dude
I would rather help out people like Subpop77, Pujolsthomefan, Wossa, etc
