No. Unless it changed, the overall grade can only be .5 higher than the lowest sub.

If the three other grades are 10s, then you can have a 8.5 and still get a 9.5.

Not saying you are wrong, I am saying I have never heard that before. But then again, I haven't heard everything about grading. Thanks for the input.

That scenario was what that card was on ebay so it can have an 8.5 and still be a 9.5

Can you explain what you just said. I am missing something reading this. Not making fun of you at all, I think something just didn't come across right.

There was a graded Hunter [that card] on eBay, which had an 8.5 sub and a 9.5 overall.

From their website:
"Also, please note that the final grade rarely, if ever, exceeds two levels above the lowest of the four characteristic grades. For example, if a card has characteristic grades of Centering 10, Corners 6, Edges 10 and Surface 10, the final grade will be a "7" (of which is exactly two grading levels above the lowest characteristic grade)."

I just looked up closed auctions of these cards and am STUNNED at what they are getting. So stunned that I listed my Heyward at BIN/BO auction, which i had ZERO intention of doing.

Josh Johnson getting $180
King Felix $235
Dustin Pedroia $400 (!!!)
Freddie Freeman $350
Michael Pineda $400 (!!!)
Brett Wallace $120 (he might be the worst player in baseball! Sorry, bitter Astros fan here, I sure wish we could have Anthony Gose back)

I'd probably have to get $400+ for mine to consider selling, which would triple my "investment". Crazy prices!

i think once people started to see how nice they are they cought fire again.

after seeing the prices i think i did ok
with the 3 i got

Morrison- 100
Longoria REDemption- 135
Ike Davis REDEMPTion - 75

here is another card like the gordon Beckham that was posted on here

McCutchen didnt get the memo about
using silver, or maybe someone at topps forgot to pack the silver
it still sold for 130$

LOVE these cards!!! Pictures and scans do no justice to the awesome factor of these!!! Here is my one and only:

Ever since I have received mine I have been gloating about how awesome this card is. No one really took note until they started receiving their own cards. Now everyone knows how sweet they are. But you just can't get the effect via pics or scans and that is the part that sucks. I don't recall what I paid for mine, but I haven't seen another for less than $150.

I just looked up what I paid for mine. $64 with shipping. [ebay:5mxztm9c]270822437936[/ebay:5mxztm9c]

i remember when the cards first hit ebay someone
stole a Pujols redemption for either 300 or 400$.
has anyone seen any redeemed Pujols' yet?
that card must look so nasty in person

I'd love to hear Pujols's status with his redemption towards Topps in general...
