I would actually love a personalized auto from Mac, being that he was my favorite growing up... I will probably send an OMLB since it is less likely to bend than an 8x10.

Sadly, ST is over, but maybe he will continue during the season? For some reason, I highly doubt it because he has been such a "mail-hater" for such a long time and doesn't want to flood the world with his stuff...

IDK though.

I ALWAYS do mine bare. It won't smear that way, but I do write DO NOT BEND on the ennnnnvelope

That reprint was in 98 Topps, I have a few "clean" ones if you're interested, lol.

Acutally I have a ton of McGwire cards, a tin collectors set, etc. You guys interested in some of these or just getting auto's?

I send mine penny sleaves.


99.9 of the time they send it back bare and its still perfect.

I sent this in ultra pro thin holder. Got it back bare and it was still MINT
Its at BGS at the moment getting slabbed

Alot of guys on here collect unsigned stuff, but for 12 years growing up all i had to collect was base and inserts. The autos are my kryptonite.

Nice! Assuming the photo's from the 1989 ASG, that's probably Bo Jackson slurking behind Mattingly. Would be one heck of a card if more than just the Jackson's shoulder were in with the other two! (Not that it has anything to apologize for as it is.)

Are you talking about through the mail or at the ballpark?
Mail- not so much. He did alot during spring trning

Ballpark - yea not as frequent a's last year though
