Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

What is the best way to send a thick card? I submitted one last time in a sleeve and recessed corner one touch and it came back a 9.5 because the card couldn't move inside the holder. I'm also wondering why screwdowns/one touches aren't allowed unless that has been changed. I feel it's the best way to ship some cards because one of my playoff game used isn't quite flat/even. Thanks.

screwdowns are not allowed so that beckett doesn't have to constantly unscrew cards.
One Touches are actually fine, they just don't recommend it because of the possibility for the card to move.

Are we allowed to send in top loaders and penny sleeves? Also, what how much do you think return shipping would be for 2 cards? And are we allowed to submit for minimum grade?

Yes. I ran out of card savers and so I'm going to be sending mine in a penny sleeve, top loader and in a team bag. I know others have done the same.

As for the shipping question:

1-3 cards $5.50

4-10 cards $10.00

10-20 cards $15.00

20-30 cards $20.00

30+ cards $25.00

Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

Hello,

Quick question. The cards have to be received by you by the 20th (so sent out by the 16th or 17th) or postmarked by the 20th.

I will be submitting 10 cards. Thank you

Re: May 2009 FCB group BGS Submission discussion

does anyone know if the grader takes into consideration the back of the card as much as the front of the card? I have a card in question where the front is perfect but the back edges are a little rough.

They definitely take it into consideration. You talking about a razor card? If so, I wouldn't submit it if there is any sign of damage on the back edges.

I went to print out a paypal shipping label and it changed the zip code of Anniston AL from 36203 to 36202-2181. Is that zip alright?

Would you mind answering my question about minimum grades? Am I allowed to submit cards for a minimum of a 9.5?
