He is not going to be able to offer refunds to everyone. Not unless he starts digging into his own pockets for a lot of cash. Nearly every product he has delivered on so far has been at a big loss. Meaning, he has been using the cash flow from the Sterling sales to pay for these losses. This is how a Ponzi scheme works. You use the money from new investors to pay off older ones. Lets not forget he has a lot of Plates and Patches as well as Contenders he still needs to deliver.

I think we may seem him disappear soon the same way Larry Roselli did.

Is everyone still guaranteed their money back even if the seller empties their paypal account?

Credit card companies will hunt him down and throw him into a 1000 gallon tank full of stingrays.
New promotion to boost attendance at Tampa Bay Rays games?

If they followed the Ebay Buyer Protection guidelines then yes, they will get their money back regardless of what the seller has in their paypal account.

His short selling strategies have actually made him a pile of cash - at least with Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome. So, he could have the cash - in theory anyway.

With regards to mama, is this officially a clustermuck where people are going to lose money since mama is apparently cutting and running?

You guys are all assuming mamabear is paying for the cases he sells. What if he isnt?

FYI hobby direct cases are 4-box cases, distributor cases are 8's.

Read this on another forum when mama_bear replied to a sterling buyer

"Thanks. If you can somehow let it be known that I truly am trying to fulfill these orders eventhough I am having to spend over 2500 per case and it just taking time to find cases available."

In short, yes.

Probably because you don't pay up front lol

Dealernet goes like.

Buyer X purchases product from Seller Y on dealernet
Seller Y sends product to Buyer X and includes an invoice
Buyer X sends payment to Seller Y

another lie

Not if it's true that dealernet member AZ250 is the buyer. That's what he is paying.

I wonder why he doesn't buy them from places like Atlanta & Blowout since they're ~$2300 a case from those stores.

he would have to use an alias because lots of places are refusing to sell to him

I guess the big boys don't take kindly to someone severely undercutting them.

Honestly - everyone hates people who short them. You are essentially betting that they will lose. It's the same for stocks - everyone hates the people who short their stock. If you play craps, you hate the people who play the don't pass and the don't come lines.

How many people have filed charge backs?

I haven't...yet, since I'm still hoping for that slight chance the guy's actually gunna buy & ship them at a huge loss, even though I probably have a better chance of finding a ****** in a **********.
