Bomb Ass Coffee Cake

Cake:
2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup crushed pecans
Icing (if you like MORE or less icing keep it in this ratio)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon water

Mix flour, both sugars, nutmeg, salt, and oil. Remove 3/4 cup and set aside for topping.

Put in buttermilk, baking soda, and egg and mix till smooth.

Pour into greased and floured 9X13 baking pan.

Take the 3/4 cup of original mixture, add 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 cup pecans. Evenly spread over batter in pan.

bake at 350 for 30 minutes

Mix icing together with a few minutes left and pour onto cake while still very hot.

Allow to cool to room temperature (if you can) before eating. Icing should be hard before you eat.

It’s afternoon, but I’ll throw this one in real quick because it’s a favorite of ours.

BLT Hot Dogs (I need a better name  )

Ingredients:
Package of Hot Dogs
Hot Dog buns
Head of Lettuce (or bag of shredded lettuce)
1 Tomato
1 Onion (optional)
Condiments

Directions:

Preheat over to 375 degrees (F).

Wrap the hot dogs with a piece of bacon. You can either tuck the ends of the bacon under the hot dogs or use toothpicks to hold the bacon in place.

Place the bacon wrapped hot dogs on baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes. You can leave them in for longer for desired bacon crispness.

While the hot dogs are baking, shred the lettuce (if you bought a head of lettuce) and dice your tomato and onions.

When the hot dogs are done, place them in a bun and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Top with condiments if desired.

Yummy. Ya know, wrapping asparagus in bacon is delicious. Also, goose wrapped in bacon is delicious. So is celery, and I HATE celery.

Ok, so everything wrapped in bacon is mmm mmmm good. So what? Bacon is the best thing since sliced bread...and the best thing to put on sliced bread!

Is there a smiley who licks his lips? Yummmyyyyyyyyyy. My personal favorite is a bacon sammich, but only when using bacon as a substitute for bread.
