LaRussa hinted that this is probably now, he is going to pair Dickey with Molina...how ridiculous is it now?

Still pretty ridiculous and ridiculous of LaRussa to even hint at it (if true). There should be nobody else starting the NL All-Star game besides R.A. Dickey. And there really isn't an argument against it, unless that argument is laced with homerism.

After listening to La Russa on conference call, would not be surprised if he pairs Dickey with Molina and starts someone else.
Mets beat writer.

...but Tony LaRussa left impression today that he'll wait to use Dickey with another catcher, such as Yadier Molina.

At least Cain belongs in the conversation, unlike the starter at 3rd (C and LF are debatable, too). Too bad Giants fans didn't try harder to get Brandon Crawford and Freddy Sanchez in. That would have been awesome.

The guy leading the ML in hits should be starting in the ASG (Melky). Ruiz probably should have gotten the start over Posey, but the Phils fans didn't come out like Giants fans did, nor were they close.
