I dont hate Brock the fighter. I hate all the stupid crap he does and says. Not touching gloves? Seriously?? Very immature. Mir talked a lot of crap too, so I guess it was a "lesser of two evils" situation for me. Brock's "I have no respect for anyone I fight" speech was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me ever liking the guy. I mean really, who says things like that? Immature, childish pricks thats who. How can any fan get behind someone who says things like that?
Give me fighters like Dan Henderson, Fedor, Wanderlei, Sakuraba, etc. anyday. They have respect for the sport, respect for their opponents, and take the sport of mma in a positive direction.
Congrats to Brock, he dominated the fight. Its just a shame that he is such an embarrassment...

There's something I've wondered about Brock's actions in UFC. Do you guys really think he's like that, or that he's just playing a persona for one reason or another. Maybe it's something that stuck with him from his wrestling days, or maybe he has another reason to act like that.

If I wasn't scared shatless of him, and saw him acting like God's gift to Earth, I'd just say "How'd the NFL work out for you again?"

Oh yea....I'm glad he won. I love to hate the guy and still root for him 8-)

I believe it is all one huge act to get people to hate him. You could see him laughing with Rogan saying he loved it when the crowd was booing. I get frustrated with him often because of some of the stupid stuff he says, but knew he wouldn`t touch gloves last night after the last few days.

That was a act after the fight that Lesnar put on...His game is getting better, say what you want to say about him.But he is a force to be Dealt with in the UFC.

I would love to to see him & Carwin,at 1st i thought Carwin would win,but after lastnight i'm not so sure.

It's all an act. And it will sell more PPV's and get more people interested.

I hate it when people bitch saying there's no place for that stuff in MMA? Why? You WANT it to all be vanilla? I think it's good for MMA. People need people to hate. And Lesnar wants you to hate him. He's humble in defeat in the octogan, as he should be, and plays it up when he wins, as he should. And in the middle he does the presser thing and hypes the fight, as do many fighters. Mir did the same damn thing.

If Mir won and did something similar, that would be okay with the majority of the MMA fans, because he would have 'put that wrassler in his place.'

I would watch a rubber match, but there's really no need for it. They have fought twice, Mir was in control for a total of around 10 seconds all together, while Brock owned him every other moment of both fights. Mir won't be a cocky leading up to the next fight, if it happens, I am sure.

But it's all a show for sure, and I enjoyed it. And it had everyone at my party cracking up hysterical. When he said he may even get on top of his wife tonight, said he was going to drink a Coors Light because Bud Light won't gibe him any money, when he went all rabid against the fence. They were eating that **** up. And that's exactly what he wants. And I personally enjoyed every second of it.

And no matter what he says publically, Dana is eating this stuff up too. He may have had a little dog whipping session after the fight in private about the Bud comment, but you know he loves it. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coors Light as a sponsor of UFC shortly.

No I dont think its an act Sam. I think Lesnar really is a meathead ******, but god damn he has some beautiful MMA techniques when it comes to controlling his opponants. I dont even like the guy personally, but as a fighter, I have come to respect his dedication to the sport.

And frankly it was awesome to see the Mir Hype stunted for what it was.

GSP did a good job, but Alves looked awesome. Never once wilted, and was never completely out of the fight.

Dan Henderson is now my hero. Nice to see the Bisping train get derailed. He was never as good as he and everyone else thought he was and I kept saying that if your career highlight is a UD win over Leben and a decision loss to Rashad, you may still have some work to do son b4 your ready for the cream of the crop.

Well, Bisping will have a nice layoff to work his technique and circling out work because that was just one of the more brutal KO`s I have seen in MMA and I have seen a lot.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's the sharpest light bulb in the tool shed, because he's not. I think that he does say certain things that make him look like a ******* when he's trying to make those sings sound differently than he thought they would. But I think certain things he does are completely on purpose and he knows what he's doing. And another thing to add in is he's a very emotional guy. He wears his emotions on his sleeve and sometimes it gets the better of him.

I'm the biggest Lesnar nut hugger that you will find, but I also am not blind, and I will call a spade a spade and if he's a ******* I will say it. Like at the weigh-in. He said 'It's all over but the crying baby' and that made no sense at all. He PROBABLY shouldn't have flipped off the crowd last night, but that was more of a statement to the people that had boo'd him at the weigh in and during his introduction and after he won the fight. If they are going to boo him he might as well shove his win in their face and give them reason to boo. I got a kick out of the rest of it though. Mir had been a cocky bitch since their last fight and talked so much **** about how much better he was than Lesnar, so I thought it was great that Brock walked over to him after the fight and said what he said. Something like "Talk all the **** you want now." or something like that. And the Bud Light comments, even though I am sure BL won't be too happy, were funny to me. As was his comments about getting on top of his wife. And when he was saying he loved the crowd booing him. HAHA, the horseshoe up his ass comments were great too. I just loved it all. But I get why people could be upset over some of it.

There are people that are always going to hate him. And that's fine.

But you can't deny he's a beast.

The horseshoe comment I absolutely loved b/c Mir was talking so much....about how he tapped him. The comment about his wife, and flipping the crowd the bird had me shaking my head. Actually more like this ::facepalm:: . Oh well it is what it is. The UFC finally has a undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

On a side note...as a wrestler myself, its nice to see WRESTLERS taking over the sport.

Fitch
GSP
Lesnar
Hendo

Says something about a dying sport, doesn't it.

Don't forget Diego but even Dana says that Wrestling is the best base for this sport. One funny thing though is that GSP isn't really a wrestler per say. He just started a wrestling regimen about 3 years ago.

I don't mind the theatrics, but he really needs to beat somebody good before he can act like he's God's gift.

Beat someone good? What is Mir then? Chopped liver? Herring is a solid opponent too. Oh yeah, he destroyed everyone`s hero, the Hall of Famer Randy Couture as well. So I guess he has only been handed cans so far.

Lesnar definitely surprised me with the improvement of his game!!

For all the people bitching about what he did after the fight, the real question that should be asked is:

1) Fighter A talks some trash after his fight is over and showboats

2) Fighter B drops an elbow on an already knocked out fighter that could potentially end a career

...now, without adding names, which one is "worse/bad for mma"?

Henderson should really be getting killed for what he did, but since people love him, and hate Bisping it is alright with everyone. But people hate Brock so it is the worst thing in the world. If by some miracle chance Brock`s next fight were to be against Fedor, and he were able to finish Fedor then I wonder what all the detractors would say? I know that the haters would still find a way to discredit his victory over the greatest MMA fighter of all time. I am already on record as saying Fedor would beat Brock though. But honestly, at this point I would LOVE to see Brock beat Fedor just to see how the fans react all over the internet.

I have been hearing several people saying it that the Hendo shot was perfectly fine because it is the refs job to jump in and prevent things like that from happening. I see the point. BUT when it is admitted that it was done intentionally after knowing full well that the opponent was knocked out cold, just to shut him up, that`s where I have a problem.

I firmly believe Hendo should at least be fined for what he did!

He could have killed an unconscious Bisping with that elbow.

That is the kind of thing that makes the media criticize MMA and what he did detracts from the sport!
