I am a sucker for early, often cheaper, certified autos. Added a few more.

Lilly is a sticker that appears to have been added much later. Didn't notice at first.

After the WS last year, I needed to get Vlad Jr for the collection. Not sure why I waited so long. I should have waited, because this is auto #3, but by far the best one I have now. I love the 77 design.

Got this one quite cheap, so why not. Not chasing these anywhere near as hard as when I "discovered" them in 2017, but still like to get Dodgers, odd subjects and /25 parallels when I can.

Love heritage or archives autos. If I wasn't shoulder deep in sweet spot that would be the route I'd choose.

I had a brief re-interest in filling some holes for former Raider QBs a week or more ago and went on an ebay search. I added Marcus Mariota but must have forgotten to save a scan. It's the cheapest card I could find, some newer Panini card. I also added Bobby Hoying and MC Reynolds. I don't need a ton more, maybe 10 from the all time roster. Most are very short timers, average player I don't want to spend extra on or so obscure that finding a signed item may be tricky. Maybe I can get a little closer...but I suspect this will never be a 100% complete project.

1994 Playoff Sayers. This card was a NNO insert from this set and the annual Krause and Beckett guides say some were also autographed. Oddly, I can't find any further detail on the two cards other than stating there was an autographed version. The regular insert is plentiful. At the time, autographs from packs were still in their infancy and this would have been an amazing pull from this product.

Although I can't find a known/certified pack pulled copy to match, it appears the signed version was probably not distinguished in any way from the regular NNO insert copy. So, someone could have easily had Sayers sign a regular insert later and it could be difficult or impossible to tell the difference. I do see some on ebay with diagonal signatures and found one signed that way where the seller said he got it personally signed. This could be further proof that he originally signed them horizontally across the card and later diagonally in person? This signature looks very close to the 1994 Signature Rookie signatures cards from the same year and also pack inserted, so I believe this one may be one of the original pack pulled signed inserts. However, I do not know this for certain.

1994 UD All-Time Heroes George Brett. One of four different autographed subjects in this early retro issue, the others being Reggie Jackson, Tom Seaver and Mickey Mantle. Again, fairly early in the pack pulled autograph game, these are still very affordable in most instances. I have 3 of 4. Can you guess who I am missing? Brett signed 2X the others, who each signed 1000 copies.

Pack odds for the Sayers Auto in 1994 Playoff were 1:12,096 packs according to an empty pack I had with my set.

Looks like it was also available as a mail in sweepstakes kind of deal according to the box.

2015 Fleer Showcase #S20 Connor McDavid /499 -- A sharp looking rookie year insert. I have been buying more hockey than anything else the last few months.
Working thru McDavid's checklist during the off-season to see what else makes my short list. So much high-end stuff, but trying to pick up a few numbered cards, base and perhaps a single autograph.
