Baylor will be the first blowout of the day, I put some $ on em big.

I can see that. I think they're one of the only 3-6 seeds that I didn't pick to lose in any of the dozen or so brackets I filled out.

They have an outside chance to cover, down 1 at the half.

I still think they win by double digits.

Hope Baylor turns it on for ya man

I, for one, had Murray State pulling the upset (he says smugly) so I will go at least 1-31 (he says realistically) in the first round!

Well looks like I'll have my first loss in my main bracket (also the one I used for FCB) - Stupid Richmond. :(

I follow the tourney pretty good, and I don't remember a better Thurs. afternoon in a long time. It looks like another crazy 1st and 2nd Round coming...

I'm real glad for St. Mary's and BYU, both good teams the last 4 or 5 years that finally got wins. And for anyone down on Villanova after a sub-standard game they were lucky to win, last year (vs. American) they almost lost after being down by 14 with 10 mins. to go, rebounded, Reynolds got hot and they won the next 3 games pretty handily. Hoping history repeats itself. Even if was against a 15 seed, anytime they can win with Reynolds going 2-16, they'll be happy. I do worry for them because St. Mary's can bang inside on them. I do think 'Nova wins a close game.

But Duke has to be happy that both 'Nova and Baylor didn't look that good in the bottom of their bracket.

While I only share 4 of those facepalms (I picked St. Mary's), my brackets are dead too.

I know people are going to think I'm just saying this because it just happened, but that beatdown OHIO just gave the Hoyas may go down as one of the five biggest surprises in Tournament History.

First of all, they had a terrible regular season, barely won a couple of conference tourney games just to make it in, and then absolutely HAMMERED the 4th best team in the Big East. They shot 59% against a very good defensive team with 3 potential Pro players. Plus, they almost put up 100 points on them.

I think eventually it'll go down as a historic upset for those reasons.

Add me to this group. :benson:

As a regular Pac-10 watcher, I should have known UW would randomly show up on the bigger stage.

Freaking Marquette.

They were my third loss on the main bracket, but the biggest so far - since for whatever stupid reason I had them in the elite 8. At least with Richmond and GTown I had them losing the next rd.....so if anything the GTown loss could have made my Tenn. sweet 16 pick even better. Oh well.

Sure they'll be a few more losses and it'll really go to hell and then i'll be routing for every lower seed to win.

I was watching the UW - Marquette game and I needed to go to the store to get some groceries and dinner.. Marquette was up by 15 and I thought.. I'll wait and watch the rest of the game..

Great game!!.. Oh by the way, I heard on the radio that it was the first time UW has beat a team from the Big-E in the NCAA's in over 23 years... :D

Maybe the Dawgs can get to the Elite 8 this year..
