Damn that Duke! I was really hoping WVU would have pulled it off. I guess deep down I just knew the Blue Devils would win.
Oh well.

Duke looks better now than they have all season. They're going to be a handful for Butler.

And Butler still hasn't had a great shooting nite, while Duke just had their best one of the year.
To me, it's just a matter of handling Duke's size inside. They handled K-State's size well, especially in the 2nd half, but Duke is even bigger and more experienced in a pressure-filled game.
I think 90% of the country (and the dome) are rooting for Butler too. Maybe they can put Gene Hackman on the bench too...

Another bad shooting night for the 'Dogs, and they still almost won. And almost everyone comes back next year. What if Heywood makes either of those last 2 shots? :shock:
Another great tournament, which hopefully at least pushes back expansion to 96 teams, a terrible idea IMO.
But I've got to rip CBS for the changes to "One Shining Moment". Her singing wasn't too bad, but all the shots of her cut out alot of stuff they could have shown. They hardly acknowledged all the early upsets or the regional finals, which were all good games.

The singing itself was fine, but the presentation was awful.
First, too many clips of her singing. Maybe that is contractual, but if so, turn down the contract.
Second, they footage they do show missed most of the good early round games and upsets. OHIO pulled off a shocker, destroyed a good G'Town team and didn't make the cut. No ODU, hardly any Cornell, nothing from the 2OT game or the Xavier-KSTate epic.
They got a new producer this year, a former player, and IMHO he dropped the ball big-time.
