When I got the 2 orange swatches, any other color was going for between 40 and 50. Glad I waited and got this for a great price.

Thanks Dave I need to start concentrating more on the ones I don't already have. But I can't pass up what I think is a bargain. He's got a lot of upside and if I can capitalize now, it'll pay off in the end.

Nice pickups Sly! Those Scratching the Surface autos are really nice! Wish there were more Flyers ones. :lol:

Thanks! I had to have it when I saw it. I love the look of this set. I had planned on picking up a Gretzky auto in August at the National, but had to have this one. Now I will just have more money freed up for other stuff I guess. Woo!

Finally got all my mail scanned from last week and today.

Bobs first, even though he's in the press box.

The card that started my Giroux PC.

Thanks Dave But I think I'm gonna go with Series 2 first since I'm a lot closer to that one than I am the French set (17:6). And I read on the DA website you get 6 YGs per box and there's only 2 or 3 big ones (Seguin and Paajarvi are the only ones I can think of).

I was super upset when I missed the auction the first time around, but for some reason the buyer listed it, and now I have it:

The YG Black Plate of Jeff Skinner! I only collect black plates when I do decide to buy a printing plate and Young Guns plates are arguably the best to get for a hockey rookie. The first auction I missed because I search "Jeff Skinner" not "Skinner" by itself, but luckily, it was listed again by the new owner. There was 5 offers on this card in a matter of minutes of first listing, so when the seller gave me a counteroffer, I took it. I am happy to land it!
