Granderson will hit 280-300 with 30 homers in the Bronx. Look at what happened last year... every player in the yanks lineup put up better lines because of their stadium

I hear the mets are thinking about adding even more over-payed/over the hill Latino players.

Sounds about right... surprised they didn't give Pudge 4 years, $24 million

Wish the Braves would get rid of Derek Lowe before Lackey signs or the Blue Jays trade Holladay. I would take a lower tier prospect package just to free up the some salary so the Braves have options around the trade deadline.

And Braves fans want to get rid of Vazquez also.....That roatation will SUCK without the pair...They can stand to lose one, but not both.

My cousin told me that the Yanks and Cubs are close to a trade. All that is known is that Melky would be heading over to the Cubs. Yanks likely want a reliever though. Who do the Cubs have?

This likely means the Yanks will retain Johnny Damon

Too much of that proposed Texas - Florida trade doesn't make sense for it to be real.

If this goes down, does this mean they'll try to unload all their other players to like uggla? (Hanley stayin put right?)

I think they would hold on to everyone else. Except maybe Uggla. By doing this deal they will get another starter back (If they plan on using Neftali as one) and a 1B who could be major league ready at some point this year. They could trade Uggla for a MLB Ready Pitching Prospect to also get into the rotation. I think if they traded Josh Johnson they can and will still compete because Ricky Nolasco will step up as he showed at the end of last season

what? The trade makes perfect sense, it actually is exactly what both teams want....A top flight pitcher for Tex, two high ceiling, cheap, talented prospects for Florida.

Mostly because there's no way Florida turns down that deal.
