Maholm pitched another great game tonight only to have the pen blow it again. Bucs were up 3-1 going into the 8th and end up giving up 2 runs to tie it at 3 and then take the lead 4-3 going into the 9th only to have Capps blow the save and they lose 7-4.

that is now 16 straight loses to the Brewers.

How long ago was it that Capps and Fielder got into it over Capps throwing at Prince? Seems like the schnide has been on since then.

I read in one of the Pittsburg papers, this sports writer was actually dreading the series (saying he was glad it was a mercifully short 2-game set); way to not be the littlest bit optimistic...

that's all they talked about on the Pirates broadcast was the tension between the teams. I certainly hope the Bucs can beat the Brewers tomorrow so the media here stops talking about it.

the tension thing must all be one-sided. I really don't get that feelign when i watch them play, and it's certainly not talked about that way in Wisconsin. I'm not saying there is none, just maybe more of a Pittsburg thing (which is understanable).

I just won another black refractor 2004 sterling Zach Duke!!! When I won my 1st one not too long ago I had been searching for a few years for it and bam 2 pop up in the same year. This one was a little more expensive than my other one. The first one I won for $21 dlvd. And this one was $39 dlvd.

I agree it is one sided but they need to get over it and just win a game.

On a sweet note... I am going to the game Wednesday night in St. Louis to see Duke play against the Cardinals As always its free for the military and the people I met there has season tickets right on the front row of the bleachers said I can sit with them anytime I want. It is the 1st row next to the visiting teams bullpen.

I am at the game now. I am waiting for Duke to come out right now to stretch so I can get him to sign my ball he gave me last year that he warmed up with. I got Morgan and Adam LaRoche autos so far. =D

It was actually the ball he gave me last year that he warmed up with. I tried to catch him right when he came out onto the field but he was locked in getting ready to stretch out and warm up. It sucks because the pirates left 17 men on base, Mclouth should have got Duncan out at the plate on the tag and Jarimillo should have scored easily but ran slow. =(

I meant ball but typed bat .

I didn't get to watch the game because I was at the Penguins playoff game but leaving 17 men on base is ridiculous. I am glad you got to see him pitch though.
