...and with free shipping to boot.....

How's that price for a low numbered (to 10) card?
The /10 cards sell well on average, but the Musial has only averaged around 70.

Chas- there haven't been a lot of Puckett cards from the set listed until lately. So it's like sticking a nice tuna into a pool of sharks! LOL

...perhaps some deals to be had from this seller......good luck...

Second round of Ultimate Signatures up for grabs from this seller also.....

http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dl ... %3D2&fgtp=

I think that seller is hofautos.

Don't believe so...

Pretty sure...I bought this recently from that seller

and hofautos responded to the pickup thread saying he's the one that sold it to me.
No, I meant to respond to the one you said you "overpaid" for (lol), the Hanley. Yea, I listed it the week Hanley was having a "killer week". Didn't realize it was you, until you said something in a thread. Yea, it's tough buying cards when the players are having a HOT week....I generally will list anything I have of a player that is big news at the time. Also, as you said it didn't hurt that someone else was asking even more for their Hanley at the same time.

While there are loads of Musial autos out there, I would expect that since this set has a fair number of fans and it seems people are going for 'Decades' sets, one #/10 should be in the three-digit range regularly. I can't imagine there are many out there that are not in permanent collections. I'm relatively new to the set, but I'd figure these would only come up rarely and Decade collectors would be all over it. Plus, a Musial Numbers #/6 sold for $150 Best Offer recently.

The Musial Decades /10 has sold suprisingly lower than expected in the past. This is the first one I've seen go for well over 100. This anomaly has to do with some newer collectors jumping on board I think. The winner of this auction has been scooping up almost anything and everything that's hit lately, paying well above average prices.

This guy is out of his gourd.

He's almost doubling prices on all the cards he's buying.

Ahhhhhhhhh!!! Really?! The annoying thing is he is buying all the cards I need.
I know. That sucks. I wish I could find out the ID, I'd like to see what else the guy has picked up.

Hey Dave and Scuba,
Your wish has been granted.......

He also just picked up Securedsports Griffey, McCovey, and Mathews cut auto (2/5) and was outbidded on the Carlton, Seaver, Spahn, and Drysdale cut (1/1). All I can say is.....deeeeeeeeeep pockets

Pretty good pickup and price Charlie!! Congrats! I didn't expect it to go that high but still a good price. It doesn't appear the high roller is going for the Numbers set.

Anyone get the Feller 1/1 ?
I got outbid. :( I was #2. The guy who won it sounds like a Feller collector, his ID was like #1 Feller Collector or something like that.

Hello fellow Ult Siggers!

Here's yesterday's mail, courtesy of eBay for this one

2005UltimateSignatureNumbers17-26.jpg

and this one needs a big thanks to Dave(wideright) for hosting the case break, and a HUGE thanks to bodisurfa for being absolutely frackin awesome!!!!

2005UltimateSignatureSupremacy81-99.jpg

This was his tin from the case break. Dave let him know that I had been looking for one, and he sent it to me no questions asked, along with 2 Andre Dawson cards that I had never seen before.

The one on the right is from a set that I have been working on for over a year now!

So once again, a GIANT thank you to bodisurfa for his amazing generosity!

I've had a few conversations via email, and one over the phone, with the "high roller"...his name is chris and he seems like a nice guy. Got a chuckle out of his nickname here on the boards. He came across this set when looking for something to put together...he is not interested in the numbers set or supremacy...just the duals, decades, and immortals. He's got the right idea when he says he is going after the low numbered cards first, then will get the rest....there will be a few bidding wars for sure, but hopefully it wont be too, too bad....if it helps you though, he works from 6am-8pm M-F and most S so when things hit ebay, you can be the first to see it (thinking of BIN)
