Woke up this morning to this.

[ebay:uldv1qgv]250414185717[/ebay:uldv1qgv] - Paid $27 for mine last week.

[ebay:uldv1qgv]250422263406[/ebay:uldv1qgv] - Ended yesterday for $15.50.

Either there was more interest when I got mine, or I was shilled slightly.
Whatever the case, I feel a bit scrod.

Eh, I dont think you did too bad. That's the thing with this set, it's all about timing and who sees it when it's listed. For example, i got my griffey immortal for 150, next one at auction goes above 300, then they hit 475, only to see the next one get 225. You just never know with this set....chipper decades 500 is another example. It's all about timing, if that seller listed the chipper 3 weeks prior, the new buyer to the set wouldnt have been around and the card would have gone about 250. So as long as you are happy with it, then you did well. Oh yea, I missed on a clemens immortal for 199BIN (timing.....)

Yep. JPCZ is correct. You see it a lot with these cards. Could say it about most anything on ebay. Just all depends on timing and who is looking that night for what cards. Didn't a Mookie/Buckner combo auto sell for around $130 and then next one was back down to normal price range in $20-$30 range.

I know. I just get irritated when set collectors bid on my PC guys.

So true, so true. If I had only seen that Clemens too... grrrr. There's another Williams Numbers card listed now so you should get a real good idea of what avg price should be. Although it may end up that you paid the most between all three. Hopefully not.

I'm guessing it'll end for less. I'm debating bidding on it if it stays low, but the seller's s&H policy put me off a bit last time. Anything ending over $25, he adds a mandatory $1.70 for ins. I could understand that for a $100+ card, but for a $27 card $4.50 shipping is a bit much IMHO.

Yeah, insuring a $27 card is kind of kooky.

Thanks for sharing your Will Thrills, ajw!! Any card in this set is worth showing off. I can't tell on the Decades card, but is that 99/99 just like the immortal?

I paid 40 for mine, which was probably more than they go for on ebay. I'd say 25-30.

Any of you Sig collectors ever see one of these OR is it possible to take off the blue sharpie?

That's crazy! :? The only thing I've seen close to that was a blank Monte Irvin Decades card, a loooooooonnnnnnggggg time ago. That's only the second blank card I've seen. Pretty cool and may have to try to add that to the ol' collection.

Wow some serious Ult Sig collections being sold off. No better time to cash in I guess. Kind of sad in a way though. :(

That seller is a store owner who is selling the cards that the new "high roller" doesnt want anymore. He told me he wasnt sure which sets he would continue to try for, so i guess he is cutting back on what he wants....or he won doubles!

Pretty funny that this card sold for more than the ones with Gwynn's signature on them! ::facepalm::
Ehhh...I don't know Dave. If the other 249 are dual signed and this is the only one of its kind, then I can see it going higher than the others.

I am more surprised that UD didnt buy it....if the description is true, they really want it back. Unless the winner was UD.....

Yeah you're right, error cards do usually get some attention. Now that you mention it, the seller probably could have done better if they had done a straight auction. Who knows. The seller is in Oklahoma too. I coulda driven my horse and wagon over to pick it up  Ok stupid joke.

I didn't know you were Amish Dave. What's that like?? You should be churnin' butter right now or raising a barn instead of wasting time on the computer machine.
