I picked up a sealed Konerko/Cruz Jr./Tatis/Grieve set from a local dealer's dime box a few years ago, along with one of the Piazza/IRod/CJohnson panel. I had no idea these were so incredibly hard to find, blew my mind when I found out. To the doubters, these Samples are for real.

I picked up that same set of samples on ebay recently cheap. I was hoping to help out one of the Larry Walker collectors on this board. Sadly neither seems to be too active these days and neither has gotten back to me. If someone is trying to put a samples set together or collects any of the 4 guys on the card, pm me.

one of my favorite 90s die cuts. I happened to be re-scanning it the other day (I've learned to scan with the top up these days) and just realized that it is serial #d #0031/2000 so it's a jersey number. kind of neat, sadly the "high moment" of the day (tells you how bad my work was going).

That is a really nice looking card & scan!!

Yeah, these seem to be a little higher than I expected. I got outbid on the Bags with what I felt was a generous bid. I've been wondering. That's okay though...I think I got a better deal on something else anyways. Glad to have used the money in an area more to my liking.

Thanks--I use a scanner at work, it's very "professional." the downside is of course lugging stuff into work

That's awesome - Love the design on that Piazza! The donruss collections is a very tough player "rainbow" to complete. I just got my final piece of the rainbow in the mail yesterday - The 1998 Donruss Collections Samples. I haven't scanned it yet, but I will post a pic once I get it uploaded to my bucket. Which Piazza are you still looking for?
