The Diamond Marks prototypes and artcards were both highly susceptible to miscuts...they look trimmed almost, despite being machine cut. I have many examples with the same problem. Likely BGS graders were being cautious.

Anyone have a Diamond Marks Prototype Kirby Puckett that they would be willing to trade or sell?
Are the diamond marks promos labeled sample, promo, prototype or anything like it?
They say prototype on the back edge. I've sold a few to player collectors here from a lot I purchased for the Thomas. A lot of collectors think that the "Diamond Marks" cards are all prototypes, but in reality, there was a small prototype set that superceeds the more common "release" issue that is all over eBay. That set isn't technically a prototype despite its not going mainstream.
Did you guys see these?!!? What in the world...

The 94's are much more rare than the 93's. The player strike in 94 caused alot of the card manufacturers to drastically cut production of all series 2 products.
Awesome Gold Starquest!
My $500 bid lasted until a couple of hours ago.......
