of course the staff should be amazing but dice k will be the factor in how the season goes. if he can win 12-15 games they will surpass the 85 but putting the chips on him is scary!

He's already on the DL so...

I don't know how the schedule is for the Sox, but the Yankees don't need a fifthe stater until almost May. That should help in a time where starters are still getting up to par.

that was a great game!!! i dont see the sox winning 85 this year! i hope i am wrong but losing bay and replacing him with mike cameron then moving jacoby to left befuddles me! i like cameron as a player but we needed a run producing bat. scutaro and beltre might be salty on the defensive side but scutaro cannot hit and beltre has been spotty at best! there is a very good chance that the sox wont have a 30hr 100rbi guy this year. of course the staff should be amazing but dice k will be the factor in how the season goes. if he can win 12-15 games they will surpass the 85 but putting the chips on him is scary!

Spoken like a yankee fan who didn't see a pitch of tonight's game

not to worried about this injury since its reported as only stiff! i am more worried about this fatigued arm you hear of with him. if he can get on track and keep some life in that noodle attached at the shoulder he should be able to hold the 4 spot water tight style!

I figured as much since anyone with even one good eye would notice Scutaro and Beltre are the reason why they won the game going 3 for 6 with 3 RBIs and a walk.

Totally off-topic:

Wheeler, you can go around impersonating tiger woods if you put a nike swoosh cap on and pretend that you just want to be friends who strippers 8-)

Game one to the Sox. You win some you lose some.

And just so you guys know, Sabathia pitched better today than he did opening day last year.

Surprised to see the Sox score that many runs, but one thing I noticed is that without Teixeira and A-Rod contributing, the Yankees still scored 7 runs.

Once we get out of April we will see what happens...

Remember, 8-0 :D

tex and arod didnt contribute

lolololol

they started the inning after the sox tied it at five with a single and double

???? How is that edgamacation workin out for ya. Might want to lay off the booze

It was a valid comment and question about the 2 teams that had a game thread about them. So I will say it again. When you read it below just say it real slow so you understand

The Sox beat the Yankes the 1st 8 times they met last year. How did it work out for them ::facepalm::

Don't worry I wake up with stiff every morning and never have arm fatigue. :D

Great game last night, love seeing Pedroia's competiveness.

Does the trash talk ever really stop? I guess when the season starts it gives new things to argue over. Looking forward to a great season overall.

one game doesnt make a season. i am geeked they won but lets be honest if we are hanging our hat on marco scutaro and adrian beltre to carry us to victories this year we have lost before we begin!
