Well, I'll be the ***** then. You listed a garbage fake card, you then ended the auction early...... only to re-list it.... and end it again. Then you come on here and blaime an employee for being stupid? So basically, what your saying is

" I hire and work with morons. That said, I allow them to spend MY money to buy or trade for whatever they please, knowing full well they know nothing about sports. "

Yup, im buying it.

I am trying to figure out how someone so naive to the hobby can tell people what the card would grade. I would think someone who knows nothing about the hobby wouldn't even know what card grading is let alone be able to estimate a grade in the auctions description. Also isn't it odd someone who knows nothing about cards is able to say he or she has never seen anything like it? I bet they haven't seen one like it, you think they would say that in the listings more often since they know nothing about the hobby.

Also lets not forget the obvious thing I noticed first, the extremely similar mistakes with the English language that where used in the auctions description and someones posts here in this very topic.

I don't want to rib on HYPE, because for all I know, he is being serious... but I was wondering how someone with the inability to string a sentence together could possibly have "employees".

I thought I was going crazy therefore didn't bring it up....but I knew I saw the card listed, then ened.....then relisted.....only to be ended abruptly once this thread brought it up. Very hinky.

I found it ironic and amusing that he used "retarted" to describe someone else...

Just a little FYI...I spent 45 min. or so at the NFL Experience in Tampa last Saturday speaking with a Donruss rep. at the on site card show. I told him how I am a major collector of the 05 Absolute Mem. Jumbos, and we got on the topic of the patches from the set. I let him know that except for a couple of accpeptions, I pretty much stayed away from them since they are pretty much the #1 faked patches in the hobby. He informed me that Ebay has done nothing, even when they contact them, so buyer beware!
They are making attempts to proactive with the current patch faking problem. In order to counter these fakes, every single patch in their products now contains a detectable dye that they can verify came from them. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe in the high end products, they actually have scans of the patch cards on file.

 haha. ok. well, if i was sitting there selling fake cards for all these years how come there hasnt been one of these topics about me. the fact that the card was put up then ended then re-listed is what made it come to my attention when i was checking the emails.

i can careless who thinks im full of it or not. at the end of the day. i still have all my customers. and still have the most successful store in new jersey. so im not hurting.

I dont need to make fake cards to get a quick buck. nore do i have to lie about what i do. if i would have been a ass, i would have sold the card to the guy that kept emailing me to sell him the card after i ended it, but no, i sent it to upper deck.

our name as been in the business for years and have never had a problem. so im not worried. again. say what you want. doesnt bother me. i know what i do and what needs to be done.

If i was sitting at home all day coming up with ideas on how to rip people off. i would go alot further then a stupid sweet spot error auto card. ALOT FURTHER,

so think what u want. i still have 16,000+ feedback, a member on ebay for 12 years, and my only negs are for $5 cards, and a stupid walter payton that donruss wouldnt grade because i got the card in a collection from a guy in boston, and it turned out to be a fake logo tag. and we refunded the guy. so its ok. i can care less...

they teamed up with kodak last year and put a kodak logo pn all the patches for national treasurs football, that can only be seen under a certin light.

i wish they did this for all the products, but they only do it for national treasures

You own and operate Attack of the Baseball Cards in Union? (I know you don't) If not, then you don't have the most successful store in Jersey.

And you got caught selling that incredibly fake Sweet Spot Kemp/Jeter. It's no coincidence that it ended for the 2nd time mere minutes after it was pointed out in this thread. No way to dodge that bullet. Denying it and blaming a phantom employee is only making you look worse.

After reading many, MANY of your posts, I have come to realize you are:

1) An illiterate idiot who should NOT be in charge of employeeS, much less one employee.

2) Full of your self.

3) A huge tool who it seems defends patch fakers and trimmers.

So basically, you are the actual ***** who endorses pieces of **** because "they aren't the first ones to fake patches" or "if BGS or PSA doesn't care, neither do I".

I would foe you, but reading your unintelligible posts brings a highlight to my day, because I know that somewhere out there retarded children have someone to look to when they want to run their own business.

Patrick, that is the seller, is a very nice guy. From my meetings in person with him he was very nice and from my days on other boards he was always generous. Never took him for a scammer or bad guy in any way. By the way, if you ever met Patrick, i am willing to bet you will not want to get into a physical altercation with him. He is rather big(as in bodybuilder type, 6'5 260+ Muscle, I think he plays semipro football or something)

BTW I don't know the story behind his cards, if he bought them or is making them, and I don't defend them, I know they are not real and can be made with water.

I walked by you with my son.

I also saw the Beckett booth there with the bearded goon from the box breaks. I was with my 8 year old son. I so wanted to be a smartass.

I like the fact that HYPE called the folks who by his cards, "suctomers".

Yeah he tried to scare me by bringing up him being the captain of his team, blah blah. BTW you'd lose that bet. :) The only thing that would stop me is my responsibilities- job, family. Not saying I want to beat him up. I dont fight anymore. I cannot. Just saying he's a scammer and arguing with someone in person, for me is better than over the internet.

He is without a doubt making them.

So many scams/shady areas in the hobby-

X-Mas Racks
Hot packs
Altering cards- removal of UD holograms, trimming, altering autos etc
Counterfeit cards- T206, Mattingly, Rose, Aqueous,NNOF,Desert Shield etc..
Switched Patches
Counterfeit slabs, switched cards in slabs

and so on.

Knowledge is power. Esp. in this hobby.

Randy, I believe that "retarted" is a baking term to be used when one is making tarts and has to remove the inside to adjust the taste/quality. When the cream or fruit flavoring are returned the small pastry cup the tart then becomes "retarted."

Re: SHOELESS-JOEJACKSON (eBay seller) & other forgers/alterers

Wish Topps had copies of the 2005 BDP Futures Jerseys on file. Sent my 7 Russ Martin jock tag cards in to Beckett. All rejected as they said they didn't match their pics Topps sent them. I told them I have pics saved of almost every one to hit ebay (all players) and some are cut slightly different. Beckett said to call Topps to get pics. Topps didn't have them anymore and said they didn't ever have pics of all the cards, just a few for reference. Told Beckett I pulled one from a pack and they said to send that one back in and they'd slab that one. Ugh. Waste of time for one and I lost all my fees. Talked to someone on here who worked for Bowman or knew someone and they said they would help but I never got a reply once I sent pics. Just wanted my whole colelction slabbed consistant. Oh well.

Glad to hear a Donruss is keeping scans.

Do you talk to your customers like this? If so I cant see t wall sports in Jersey lasting much longer. Do your customers walk in and you say hey go pack search who cares the card company's aren't doing anything about it so go nuts?

And you can say you sent it back all you want, I would to if I knew people where on to me and I needed to cover my rear.
