QUESTION ABOUT 1998 BOWMAN CHROME

I just notice looking at some of my el duque cards. on the bottom front small black circle is the letter P i assume for pitcher. but on my international card the letter L ?
anyone know why? or is it just a mistake

Is the international card Spanish? Lanzador is Spanish for pitcher
