I didn't know there were jumbos. Your Intense one looks like a jumbo Magic.

Yes sir, I was 15 in '93. I've gotten older, but I'm not sure I grew up.

You were 9 in 93 Magic? I'm not sure I believe that one. I saw where you posted about your sons and their MySpace page. Maybe one of them was 9 in 93?

I saw them on the bay. I plan on picking those up as well. You have such a SICK Thomas collection. You have a lot of great inserts. I've always been a fan of Thomas and I remember in '93 I would pick up boxes of Leaf hoping to pull cards for the Frank Thomas insert set. They were numbered to 10,000 I believe? I know one said Agression and I think one said Determination. It was a very cool looking set.

Joe

Thanks man. Really appreciate it. As magic said, jumbo's /7500 and the regular were not numbered. I'm sure i've got a few extra's of the '93 Thomas if you would like some.

I think magic meant to say he had been collecting for 9 years in '93. 8-)

I might take you up on that. You're welcome. Even though I don't collect Thomas, I enjoy looking in on the thread and seeing everyone's maildays. I like all of the 9.5 RCs you've been picking up.

Magic's awesome. I was just trying to tease him a bit.

I love to get these in the bargain boxes at shows: :D

My favorites are the samples. :D The Frank Thomas's are refractor samples that were for a 1998 Pinnacle set that was never issued because of the company's bankruptcy.

Great stuff everybody. I really like that Studio Proof gwynn5453l4u. Very sweet card!

Stl- a lot of nice inserts there. I like that you can pick up a lot of them on the cheap as well. Of course, some of the 90s inserts I have cost a pretty good amount of coin.

Here's a few more from my old A-Rod PC:

The Studio is a Gold 8x10 #/300. Very, very, very hard to find. :) 8-)

Nice pickups!

Just a minor clarification - the 'left' Thomas sample was from 1997 - Donruss Limited and was fully produced.

I know I've got some of those somewhere, but I never knew what the heck they were.... Damn, looks like I'll be digging through some boxes tonight. Are you going for a set or something? I'll let you know what I find, and if you need em... well, they're yours!
