I guess one can interpret something to mean what they choose it to mean, but what I am proposing would not financially hurt those who have already spent money on Razor(Edit: as a matter of fact, it would reward them for buying into the product early & on the principle of buying it because they like, collect, or have faith in it- it would only make those whom are "waiting" lose out & obviously they would have already bought into it if they had faith in it; so why should it matter if those people miss out?); whereas what was done before (with the regurjitation of player's onto an improved version of Sig Series) will indeed hurt those who've already spent money on Razor product! I didn't want to rehash this so I'll exit on this (as a matter of fact I didn't even want to go down this route, but you guy's brought up the shady & not cool aspect so I deemed it fair to note what was truly "shady & not cool"- that's all).

In my opinion, the product is geared toward prospectors, not collectors. What you're proposing would in fact "reward" folks who purchased early (including collector-types) and would cut out the folks who are simply waiting to see which cards will be more "rare" than others before they buy.

If the Razor honcho truly wants to connect with collectors, perhaps he'll give some thought to what you're saying. Again though, he's primarily marketing his baseball products to prospectors so it wouldn't make sense. He's already angered them enough I think.

I spot checked them and Wieters is the clear leader with 182 sales. Most of the bigger names are around 70 sales while some guys have sold as little as 5 copies.

So far I've purchased:

(5) Brett Wallace
(2) Eric Hosmer
(2) Aaron Crow
Matt Wieters
Pedro Alvarez
Yonder Alonzo
Tim Beckham

Wallace is starting out in Springfield so I'll likely buy a few more and get as many different colored IP auto's as I can. I may do the same with Hosmer and Crow.

I'm looking forward to the colored parallels.

All you have to do is go to the auction page for a particular card and click 'purchases' to see how many cards are left.

I think Brian should end these auction's early & without notice so that the before mentioned "watcher's whom countdown till day 29 then buy" cannot occur (which would make buyer's either pay up or shutup). Though this idea would potentially cost him some $$ from sells in the present (likely with the first go around of player's) because no one would be expecting it, and I think it would push those who were going to sit by on idle (until they see a card that might be SP'd in the closing day's & then pounce) to pounce immediately in fear that they may possibly miss out altogether! Just an idea as this- monitoring the amount sold & then strolling in & buying those which haven't sold many- is going to basically ensure that none of them are sp'd (at least not in the context to where it will make any difference on the secondary market). The only problem with the "ending early" plan (besides the fact that Brian may initially lose some sell's) is the conspiracy theorist's can have a feild day with the idea that Brian may give "notice" to a select few of his henchmen (& then we'll be buried in doo-doo thread's)! :lol:

BTW, auction closings not conflcting with NCAA tourney games will they? Might not make a big difference but something to consider when doing auctons so far in future.
I am too lazy to figure out if auction ends on Thurs-Sun

Are all the cards in hand and being shipped out now to the buyers who have ordered already? Will people be getting these in hand fairly soon. I really like this idea. Will be fun seeing what is left towards the final days of the auctions and see if any big orders go down late. Will be cool seeing the final order tally on each card.

Any chance some will hit ebay before the end of BG's auctions?
