Brian,

Can we get a preview of some of the players that will be included in the additional autos? I am big collector of your Razor Metal product and would love to see some of the guys who might be available. Thanks for your help.

All the hate is because of losing money on prospects. Where are all these hobby cops when tricky Dick lied about changing the redemption system to a max of 45 days or the insane amount of back doored topps cards on ebay? A post was just made showing auctions for red refractors that would show product tion to be over a dozen of each. Brian comes on here and interacts with collectors and takes advice. This product is the same as others in concept. Just odds and good luck to get a good card. Some of the responses are laughable and scary honestly. Any thread, post or product he offers, you folks can find a negative and run with it. I hope some of you put this Passion in important issues and not just this hobby. oh wait to some of you its a business and nothing else.

I question the personal hand collating and shipped direct process. There seems to be a lot of opportunity to manipulate the market to generate hype.

It takes about 2 minutes to look over this and see that I'd buy these at $225 and risk getting a $40 card as the worst pull before I'd buy some high end UD product for $225 and get $15 worth of jersey cards. Nice work, Brian! This is truly an impressive product.

Gotta say I agree wholeheartedly!

The guy admits to tanking in the baseball card business. He made statements most likely out of embarrassment and anger. Probably hoping for a 180 degree turn that never happened. I would imagine and venture to say you would go down the same road trying to not swallow your pride in the same situation. But least he can admit to failing and making bad choices. This product is loaded with plenty of nice cards that are PC to almost any collector who pulls them. You won't take as bigger hit then most products out there that are costly.

Me down the same road? Nope
You are trying to justify remarks made after the products failed (actually, not so sure they "failed"). I'm talking about statements/decisions/etc when BG was King of The Hill
I wouldn't lie and then brag about how others could care less about the lies in PMs
I also wouldn't make statements about how it comes down to feeding mouths and paying employees even if it comes to breaking promises

Paraphrased of course not to break TOC

I never said this idea was bad idea
If some other company did it, I would possibly jump aboard. Possibly. Not sure. Part of me just says, "Buy those PSA singles online if you really want them," and/or "Do I really want another slabbed card taking up space in the closet?"
I find it comical however how some basically have the attutude of "Well at least I won'tget *****/beaten as badly with this product as I would with others" Sure you shouldn't EXPECT to come out ahead with every break but I just don't get that attitude.

Also, something else to consider with some of the vintage is that the "value" will not jump up
It is basically set where it is at
There are always exceptions but for most part, one annot expect the card to jump in value

For those breaking for the thrill, best of luck. Hope you pull some monsters

My math is fine, but its only as good as the data on VCP.

Compared to the 41 PB the 39 is a dull, BW fugly card. Thats the reason historically it hasn't dramatically been worth more than the 41 PB Williams.

I don't know how long you have collected vintage but this is something that goes back A LONG WAY. Ask any longtime dealer selling vintage, its only been recently that the 39 has gained some steam. Most likely due to RC set collectors and PSA's registry.

Sorry to piss in your post toasties but the facts are that in high grades there isn't that much difference in realized prices between the two cards.

In actuality the 1941 is his most popular pre war card but the 1939 PB RC has finally started to gain in value like should. Its ugly but a RC.

However in super high grade (not the ones offered by Razor) the margins of difference between the two cards get much closer.

1939 PB- PSA 4 VCP Average- $835
1941 PB- PSA 4 VCP Average- $513
% Difference- 163%

1939 PB- PSA 7 VCP Average-$2,257
1941 PB- PSA 7 VCP Average-$1,695
% Difference- 133%

1939 PB- PSA 8 VCP Average-$4,873
1941 PB- PSA 8 VCP Average-$4,214
% Difference- 116%

It looks like there has only been 1 9 of each sold in recent times so the data isn't really that good to look at."

Your % Difference is off. You are dividing the numbers backwards. You need to take the smaller number divided by the bigger number and then subtract that from 1 to get your difference. So the percent difference for each should read:
39% Difference
25% Difference
14% Difference Respectively.

Sorry we are talking about differences in thought here. I meant percent difference you would have to pay more for one card over the other for example.

To buy a PSA 4 1939 PB you would expect to pay a 133% higher price than for a PSA 4 1941 PB.
