Seeing the checklist, it's notable that even the lowest end cards aren't terrible. Sterling, UD Black, Exquisite, etc. can all produce returns that are as bad or worse, but the 'bad' cards aren't nearly as cool as the stuff you can pull from Retro. Autos of no name rookies/plain gu of marginal stars vs. david wright psa 10 bowman rc? Give me the latter every single time.
In any product, you're likely to take it in the shorts to the tune of 50% or more. With Retro however, I'm far more likely to want to keep whatever I pull as a PC card, even if it's worth far less than the $225 I paid for the pack.
