Suck on a big fat one Sox fans.

Classy.

And, vwnut - they're not the first team to spend and lose. It's amazing how big of asses people can be here to other fans when no one on this board had any impact on any game whatsoever.

Telling people to "suck one"? You wonder how these things get perpetuated....

Ladies and gents, we have witnessed the biggest choke in the history of baseball brought to us by the red sox.

Moments earlier, we witnessed another historic collapse (though not nearly ad shocking) by the braves.

Dear Boston Red Sox,

Hope you enjoyed your monumental collapse at the hand of the Baltimore Orioles. May you and your bandwagon fans enjoy the off-season.

Love,

The Baltimore Orioles

Poor sox fans...that was an epic meltdown, with the perfect choking capper. Must really hurt, bad.

Technically, their whole season was up and down. When I think choke, I think total domination then failure. Wasn't that long ago that a team was up 3- 0 in the WS before losing 4 straight.

For that fact alone they shouldn't be allowed in the post season.

I feel bad for true fans, but the ********* can, yes, bite me.

Holy cow, you'd think Boston just lst the World Series. Truthfully, I'd rather be a fan of a team that melts down in the last month of a season than a trash talking goon whose team still has quite an uphill battle.

God don't bring that up, people will get mad at you for still bringing that one up because it happened so long ago.

I'll be honest, I really didn't mind seeing seeing the Red Sox choke, however, I do kind of feel bad for the Sox fans.

I'm not really happy right now. I would have loved to see a game 163 so the two teams could have battled it out themselves.

I wish there were more [strike:1ogtl535]Rays/Yankee[/strike:1ogtl535] baseball fans like you

They probably wouldn't have got very far with their pitching staff, but hey....crazier things have happened. Unfortunately none of those crazy things happened in our favor this year. It's just frustrating for me because I have watched almost every single one of their games this season, and knew what kind of potential they could have had in the playoffs (of course, with a healthy lineup)...always next year I suppose. :?

In the World Series? I remember the '04 ALCS, but not the World Series...

In any case, that was a crazy night; hopefully it won't come back to haunt the Phillies and/or the Yankees.

I feel sorry for the Red Sox fans, I really do; it would have been nice to see them in the playoffs, but the Rays are just as deserving, especially tonight!!
