Not sure as mine are packed away. Do you have a checklist? I most likely have them, but depending on what they are I might be interested in some doubles. I heard the shop would be opening in a couple weeks?

Hi everyone! I am taking a chance, but I am hoping that someone may come thru for me. I am down to my last 3 cards for my 2005 Absolute Tools of the Trade GU set. One of the 3 is a Rickey Henderson card, #54, with him on the Mets. Does anyone have an extra Jersey or bat card?

Thanks for looking, as I knew this is a shot in the dark.

Do you guys even submit an offer when the seller has a ridicules price on a card

Like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-SPORTK...0881116968?pt=US_Football&hash=item4165d1b728

Not that I have the funds to even offer anything but I was just curious.

If I had a card like that (which I hopefully will some day), I would probably list it in a similar fashion. With us crazy Rickey collectors, you just never know what the price will be. Setting a high BIN with a Best Offer is probably the way to go. The seller realizes (at least I think they do), that the price is high, but there's no point in setting it at $300 and watching the BIN get hit immediately, might as well test out the market :)

It's really pathetic that you think that someone would say that they have seen a pic of the Crusade Prototype and you don't understand respecting someones wishes to not make the picture public, it's not about figuring out who owns the card. It's respecting someone's wishes and requests. But from what I've seen in the card world noone cares about being respectful to others or values their word to others. Here is the pic, I put a marks on the card, just so you know it's real...

I figure this is directed at me, and that's fine. I may have seemed rude. I wasn't trying to be rude, or disrespectful at all. I just don't understand why anyone would mention having the card or that so and so has it, but no one is allowed to see a picture of it. I don't care who owns the card, as I'm 99% sure it will never be me. If whoever owns the card doesn't want anyone to know about it, then don't say a word. I do appreciate the picture as it is pretty sweet.

I don't think anyone was trying to be disrespectful, or trying to find out the identity of the owner. I think it was a true/false scenario, wanting to actually see the card that none of us had ever seen before. Thank you for allowing us to see the card in question.

on a serious note that rainbow would be sweet for a Rickey collector.. the Crusade set is just awesome in hand and I'm surprized he wasn't one of the regular players in the set.

So there is a red, green and purple? I like how Donruss pulled a Topps and used the same photo again. If this was used in 98, they used the same photo in 02 for the Leaf 18(A's).

Thanks for the pic and the sort of explanation. I am still struggling to understand why somebody would not want anybody to see a picture of a card they own, but that's cool.

I'm gonna use photoshop to fix those marks, and a friend of mine is really good at replicating baseball cards. Soon, there will be thousands of copies and the card will be worthless! Muahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa. aaaa. aaa. aa.

I'm super serious, I've done it before.

"Yeah sucka, you thought your Napolean hair card was a 1/1, but I've got one right here...."

That really happened, the guy who pulled it showed up on Topps MB but refused to show a picture because he thought we would somehow replicate the card. Luckily there was a great big picture of it on the sell sheet, so I was still able to replicate it. Muahahahahaaa!

The Crusade Rickey is awesome. It's one of the first (if not the actual first) players I've seen that didn't have one in the first series that does in the second series. Very cool!!! I so want to see a checklist from the ones past #130. Just to see a player list would be a help to so many player collectors.

So Ryan who's hair did you use? :)

When you make my Crusade card I want it to have a Rickey hair on it as well. :D

:D Ryan, have you been dipping in Granpaw's cough syrup again? :D

That's just how I get down...

I used real ink... well, I don't know if toner counts as 'real ink', but... I have plenty left for the Crusade!

Yes there is a green, purple, and red version. I had seen a checklist of the Protoypes above #130 previously, but don't recall where. I'll try to find it.
