Hi guys! great conversation. Dudes, please pray to Ra and Jésus and the Flying Spaghetti Monster for my city. I know I'm in the ghetto and am pretty much safe, but... I didn't think things would get this bad. The house I grew up in is gone. The school I went to is burned to the ground. My stomping grounds have been stomped upon. Things are getting pretty crazy here. Pray for us. Armageddon. And Stuff. R'Amen.

Hey guys. Question for you. Is this card really as rare as the seller claims? I know that I haven't seen one in a long time on Ebay, and I am leaning towards believing him. What do you think?

The seller of this card is a very respected member on these boards and he specializes in rare promo cards. He has a very vast collection of hard to find promos and samples.

I guess maybe the fire hasn't quite consumed my dad's house. It's really hard to say since nobody is allowed anywhere near the place. They did say on the news that the elementary school across the street has not been burned, so that's cool. Then there's this site that shows where the fire is at, it's a pretty cool site, but it told me the fire has not reached the house, and it told my sister (who was supposed to move in 7/1) that it has burned. So we really don't know.

This stupid thumbnail was the best I could do. My dad's has the white arrow pointing to it.

Great cards but his prices are too steep for me. Takes away from the hobby IMO.

What's a fair price for 91 Star Stellar and All Star promos? Don't want to pay too much or low ball seller. If I can get them I only need to 93 Star. Also have extra Silver promo if someone needs it.

Hello to all fellow Henderson fans.My name is Mike and I have been collecting Henderson since 1990.I have amassed over 4000 of his cards but from the posts and cards in this thread you all put me to shame.Hehe.I have had some nice Hendersons in the past but due to hard times had to part with them and now have mainly a base collection.I look forward to hopefully completing some trades,once I figure out how, on here and adding to what I already have.I also trade on the other site.Not sure if we can mention it on here..you know the Beck....place.

Thanks for the well wishes on my facebook page gentlemen, I appreciate ya. It looks like, at least so far, my dad's house has escaped. It was right on the front line of the fire, the houses on the next block are gone, and there was one thing we didn't think of... somebody was talking on the news about how their house escaped, but it would be months before they could move back in. And once they do... it's like a war zone over there, looks like a bomb hit. Pretty sad stuff.


I grew up in a very wealthy neighborhood, in the shadows of the mountains. Mountain Shadows. The secret was, we moved there in 1987 and got the second house that was built. It is a rather ordinary house in a very nice neighborhood. It did suck because we were very middle class, what with the 5 kids to feed and all that. It was cool because my best friend had an Atari and like colecovision or whatever the really old school OG one was... he got a Nintendo right when it came out. I always thought it sucked having friends who had all this great stuff, and I didn't have any great stuff, but now I realize how awesome it was. I got to play with all that stuff for free any time I wanted. Now I live in the ghetto, and I watch kids playing paperball*, and think Man, if only they had a rich friend's house to play at... Anyway, pretty sad that all those really nice houses burnt up, and the part that survived was the original neighborhood filled with normal houses.


*Coolio has a song about how poor he was growing up. "Back when I was a kid, we used to have this game called paperball." "Paperball? WTF is that?" "Get a piece of paper, ball that **** up, and play with it!"

If you can get it for $40 opening bid, cost of lettering is $35 for 100% authentic 2 and 3 color name and numbers like on field.
